This is a typical Roosters chain. A sports bar with good food. While I dont normally like breaded chicken wings, these are really really good! Pizza is top notch too. This particular location is always busy, and if you go on a sports day, there could be a wait. Methinks this is because the lack of good sport bars in Lancaster. Anyway, with that said, it can be real noisy at those times, and service (as expected) can wain. So if your not a sports fan, you may want to check a sports guide before heading down there. The only complaint I have is last summer their AC broke on a very hot Saturday, which can certainly happen, but the manager said she was waiting until Monday to call in the repair to avoid an "emergency" call. I would have gave 4 stars, but with a manager willing to "discomfort" customers to save a few measly dollars, doesnt sit well with me.
Review Source:While on a roadtrip to lancaster we stopped at Roosters and sat outside to enjoy the nice weather.
We wanted to sample all the different varieties so we got a bunch of different kinds and sides to get the full experience.
We went with the onion feathers, the mac n cheese bites, the curly fries, the seasoned wedges, the boneless wings, the fingers, the tenders in grilled, marinated and fried with all the sauces.
God, do I feel like a pig listing all of this!
To make myself feel better we only got 2 of each and shared them between 3 people.
All of it was really good, REAL chicken, no mush, I loved the grilled and marinated, the guys liked it fried, the sides were good, there is really something for everyone.
The service is friendly and fast, if I get a craving for chicken this is my favorite place so far.
It's probably because i've been living in LA for the past two years, but this place is cheap and has decent 'bar' food. So I have to give it a good rating. I definitely recommend stopping by for a beer and wings... though the blue cheese that comes with the wings... doesn't seem like any blue cheese i've ever had. I have to let that slide...
Review Source:The hubby and I ate at this Roosters yesterday for lunch. We both ordered boneless wings and they were fantastic. You can tell there werent any 'fillers' or anything else in the wings. Â I also ordered their 'Red, Bacon & Blue' salad, which was ok, but seemed like it needed a little more dressing on it.
The building itself seemed rather small, as I am sure it used to be another restaurant before. I quickly compared the size of the restaurant to another Roosters off of Henderson Rd. Â The staff were very friendly and they took our order right away. The waitresses kept bringing my husband refills when I was completely ignored. I didnt drink my Sprite down right away, but they allowed me to finish my glass with asking if I wanted some more. If I was paying the bill, I would of been more than happy to rethink the tip.
Rooster's Lancaster is an awesome restaurant and bar! Â Very family friendly, offering great service and great food! Â Rooster's always has a great menu with a wide variety of items to choose from such as wings, sandwiches, salads and soups, pizzas, etc etc! Â There is something for everyone at this restaurant!
