New to the area so thought I'd check it out.. First off the salsa is very tasty. This coming from the daughter of a man that manufactured his own salsa for many many years. When trying a New Mexican resturant I always taste the beans first that's usually a great indication the food will be good.. THEY WERE GREAT! I had the chimichanga (chicken) it was fabulous! My daughter had the flautas and they were great to.. The service was very good and food came out quick. Hot and fresh. I definitely will be eating here on a regular . Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

I have eaten at Rosie's more than 30 times over several years.  I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The ingredients Rosie uses are consistently fresh and tasty.  She makes her own salsa, which is excellent.

I am particularly a fan of Rosie's carnitas burritos and carne asada tacos.  My friends like the chicken chimi.

When Rosie makes flan, it is worth the extra calories.

I have never received watery or otherwise poorly cooked rice or beans.  No one I know has reported a bad meal at Rosie's.  I'm sorry about the other reviewer's experience but it is highly atypical.

I have been back in Rosie's kitchen and cooler to pick up specially ordered food and they are clean and well organized.

Rosie and her husband, Juan, are members of the local Rotary Club and big contributors to the welfare of the local community.  I'll continue to eat at Rosie's regularly.

I'm only giving it a star because I have to. Poor service, poor food and if I would have seen the fly tape before ordering, we would have left. Just because you're the only restaurant in a small town doesn't mean that you don't have to even try.

We waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We were the only table in the place except for one couple that was done eating when we got there. It probably would have been faster if 1 guy wasn't the host, waiter and trying to run the bar and mini mart connected to it.

I ordered the chicken chimichanga with no tomatoes, and the two other people ordered carne asada. None of our rice was cooked thoroughly, the refried beans were bland and watery.

When someone says "no tomatoes", that means no tomatoes. Not on the outside, not on the inside, NO FRIGGIN TOMATOES. And when the waiter hesitates after he's told that, that means he knows what is in it and doesn't have the courtesy or the smarts to tell you. Thankfully I'm not allergic to them, I just don't like them.

Everyone at our campsite was told about our experience (including people that live there) and none of us will be back.
