Round Up Saloon The

The Round Up Saloon is one of the best bars in Red Bluff, but we only have five to begin with! What I like about this bar the most is the atmosphere: everybody is chill and the bartenders are polite and friendly. I have never witnessed a fight at the Round Up Saloon and the bouncer has never been rude to me, so that is a big plus. People like me go out to enjoy themselves, not to be harassed or get in fights, which is why I will choose this bar over the Palomino Room any day of the week.
Prices are reasonable, and I have never been cheated on a drink. Sometimes they lack selection however. I like Bacardi spiced rums and they only had Superior, so I ordered Kraken and they were out of that too. In the end, I had to settle for Captain Morgan. Their beer selection comes and goes. They always got the basic domestic beers on tap, but sometimes they have something more premium like an IPA or something which is nice.
They have a jukebox and its loud. Occasionally, if it is not busy, a bartender will play something from Pandora or from his own collection. On holidays they hire DJ's and although the dance floor is small, it is a fun place to dance usually. Not the greatest music--expect mostly radio hits and occasional diversions into country and antiquated pop/rock songs--but you can expect the DJ to string a few danceable tunes together every now and then.
An added perk to this bar is an open area out back where you can enjoy your drink outside. I'm not a smoker, but if you are, this is a major bonus. Overall, it is a good bar and a chill place to enjoy a drink or occasional dance. Just do not expect too much from it, and you will likely enjoy yourself.

On our trip to Red Bluff the Stalker Club of Redding (S.C.O.R.) made a visit to the Round Up. Once again we were surprised by the hospitality and friendly atmosphere we received. a sports bar of sorts with a pool table and foosball ball game in a partitioned room. Jukebox with music at just the right volume. Chris the bartender a good man that we all had fun with. Fair prices will be the theme here. we give the Round Up three beers out of a six pack.
