This place has dropped some and I don't know why, perhaps the owner was out or something. Â Spotty service, SYSCO-type chicken strips and large, really grainy fries. Â Hmmmm.....I hate to see it, not sure why. Â The Mrs. said the womens room had no paper towels and when mentioned to the gal, she just said something like "Yeah" and never addressed it. Â I guess business must be real good in Blodgett. Â Would probably drop this to a 2.5 stars if I could, they don't deserve a 2 however. Â Probably won't be back.
Review Source:Opened in 2010 at the site of the former Blodgett Country Cafe, the pub is located at 110 Burnt Woods Trail Road, right off Hwy 20, between Philomath and Eddyville or about six miles east of the Blodgett Country Store. The building first became a cafe in 1925. For decades, it was called the Burnt Woods Cafe. Â
R&R Pub and Grub features a bar, seating for about 36 and two flat-screen televisions. It also has a drive-thru window so customers can pick up orders. The Pub draws a lot of business during college football games and ultimate fighting matches. About once a month there is karaoke.
Holding true to the sports bar theme, the menu features half-pound, hand-spanked burgers and some specialties such as the R&R. The pub's signature burger is made with a chipotle mayonnaise sauce, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, salsa and lettuce. The BLT is served with thick perfectly cooked bacon. Orders come with fat steak fries, onion rings or salad.
I will be back to this place again & again.
