American Dream and Crowbar

I love their crust.  This is a highly personal thing when it comes to pizza.  You have to go bigger than the mini though to get that thick edge.  And they don't skimp on the roasted garlic for a topping - very nice.  BUT, the cleanliness is dropping off the bottom of acceptable levels.  I can understand the self-serve bussing, but the tables are just disgusting.  Not as bad as their campus location, but I stopped eating there after the first visit.  They need to provide some cleaning towels and Lysol kitchen spray.  Until then, I will only return when the waitress-serviced rooftop is open (summertime).

Dangit. Like I had feared, the crust is consistently terrible as I have been to both of the locations now. I've even been there another 3 times after my original post just hoping that American Dream would change my mind. But alas, that is not the case. I'm sorry American Dream. But your pizza would be soooo good if the crust was softer and better tasting. I'm still giving this place two stars though, just because I have faith that one day they will see all of these reviews and change their dough recipe. Then I can go back and be satisfied.

Pizza combos are great. Lots of good beer choices. Love the crow bar cocktail list it is very creative and delicious. The crust on their pizza is hard as rocks so I tend not to go here anymore when I want pizza.
