After I got my coffee I wanted a warm breakfast sandwich. Between Quiznos and Ruby Tuesdays, I settled on Ruby Tuesdays. They not only have a sit down breakfast (but nothing caught my eye) but 5 or 6 different breakfast sandwich types to go. For only $3.50! At a airport! I couldn't believe it after paying $10 at SFO. I was debating between a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit or crossaint. Of course I asked the worker and she said their biscuits were pretty darn good. Done deal!
I was surprised the biscuit was larger than what I had expected (i.e. KFC size) and it was one of the best fast food breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Craving one now!
They've got a damn good mimosa! I was stuck here waiting at the airport for my mom to come pick me up since I had some time to kill before she got there. I opted to start my vacay with a drink and as mentioned the mimosa was my poison of choice.
My bartender was very nice and assertive to my needs. He added even an extra splash of champagne without charging me. I appreciated that. Strong drink and a strong sense of comfort from a good ole Ruby Tuesday. To be honest I didn't even know they served alcohol. Win!!
This place wasn't that great. I be better off spending my money at Quiznos across the way. I don't know if it's the location be the food was not fresh and seem like it the put my dessert a little too long in the microwave.
When I asked for a refill, it appear all they did was put more ice.
The only reason they even got a 2 star rating is bc they have TVs.
I was very surprised to find a Ruby Tuesday in the airport, even more surprised to find a full salad bar inside. Â I don't remember the name of my waitress, but she was very nice. Â They had crab cakes and of course, I had to try them. Â They were acceptable. Â The wine selection was ok, as expected. Â It was great to be able to eat something besides fast food in an airport.
