5 stars for the combo pizza. Same recipe from 30 years ago. The music is a bit to loud for my taste.

The criminal element here is outrageously dangerous. If you have a death wish, this is your place.

Popped into Rusty's while passing through Tracy... Nice bunch of people in there... The barmaid was awesome, great bloody mary... The barback was a really nice young fella, very helpful... They made me feel right at home... I'll definitely come back...

Last time I was here, I was served by Rusty himself. And a sweetheart who knew a couple of my friends, Roxanne. Love this place when I'm back home visiting. Especially for the pre-thanksgiving s***s*** (i.e. the Wed before thanksgiving when everyone's back home and catching up with friends, y'all). Also, there is PIZZA.

Kind of a dive bar but if you want EXCELLENT cracker crust pizza, this is THE place. Great toppings, generous amounts, very very good. Even though it's a 20 minute drive, Rusty's is the only place to get this style and quality of pizza. We always get it to-go, then heat it up on a pizza stone when we get back, it's ALWAYS worth the effort.

The best part of Rusty's is when the owner (Rusty) takes you into his office and spanks you. Just like my old favorite Tracy pizza place Norms Pizza. Only differerence is that Rusty does not make you take your pants down.

This place is decent, a bad part of town but it was pretty chill inside.

Security guard at the door that's plus

Pizza part was closed that really sucked, i've only heard good things about it.

Went on a Saturday night really packed and a decent crowd, only 1 bartender she was running all over the place but kept our drinks filled.

I really liked Rusty's. Our club had a meeting here last Friday night and the staff was very accomodating and welcoming. Their service was great, very fast. It was a very fun place with full bar, juke box, plenty of tables and amazing pizza. The pizza was very good, not at all like dominos or pizza hut. It is a fun, local bar - pizza place! Lots of interesting people too :)

Fun with a group of friends. If you go in twosome or on a date, its a crap shoot. Lots of tweakers and weirdos. Rusty is a great guy and if hes present he keeps it live and fun. Ok prices on drinks. Service is ok as well. Oh ya, their pizza is great. Go all meat! You wont be disappointed.

I've been going to Rusty's off and on, and it's probably my favorite bar in Tracy.  It has the best ambiance, and by far the best bar food.  Their pizza is incredible.  It's definitely not for someone on a diet though.

The crowd varies and most everyone is super nice.  I've had two run-ins with guests at the bar, but they never escalated.

The place looks a bit questionable from the outside, but since it was pretty much the only game in town on Thanksgiving, we decided to give it a try. Cheap drinks, friendly bartender, and an "enthusiastic" crowd. Very salt of the earth atmosphere. The best part was buying a pack of temporary Oakland Raiders temporary tattoos from the vending machines next to the door as we were leaving. Looking forward to pasting that on my boyfriend's forehead (who just happens to be a huge Broncos fan) on a random Sunday.

Wasn't sure of the place at first but we decided eh why not, we wanted pizza but  we didn't want any other ordinary pizza so we gave this place a try.  We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was perfect-cheese, crust and LOTS of pepperoni!
Good if you wanna catch a game at the bar, too! We will be back!

too many drugs flying around this place for me to be comfortable, inside and out. After overhearing two guys talkin about a meth deal i went outside to have a smoke and who greets me but a guy with dread locks snorting coke through a straw in plain sight. The pizza is about the same quality as domino's. Testosterone levels are pretty high here, not to friendly to new comers unless you have boobs.  One of the security guards seems to have an idea of what hes doing but the other just sits around all night staring at women.
Its a dive bar and i would suggest checking it out if your with a group of friends only after you have already seen every other bar in town.

This review is based on one food item only.... The Rusty Combination....  I have not really been in the bar or had any other food from Rusty's, but I ALWAYS get a large combo with pepperoncinis.... I grew up in Tracy and whenever my uncles, who also grew up in Tracy, came to visit, a trip to Rusty's or Tracy Joe's or whatever this place was called at that time was a priority.  Well, the owner may have changed a few time over the years, but the pizza has remained a constant and for that I am grateful!....  please, dont ever change the pizza!  I know I'm not alone when I say that!....

If youre a local and have never picked up a pizza, go get one now!  You wont be dissapointed....

Another spot the oldman suggested that we stop off... so he could pee. Well, that's the conclusion I'm coming to.
Sccccrrreeeatch! Record stops. Locals ask "Where ya'll from?"
Our answer: Car show. So, they let us slide. I take pix of the cute tattoo shop pic, he points out to the ridiculous leather-flame sofa... I say, yeah, "total man-cave monstrosity". The end.

This bar is definitely a hit or miss kind of place. It's generally a good place to stop in for a beer and a few conversations. I wouldn't recommend this bar if you're looking to go out and have a great time. If you want to just hang out, then this is the place to go.

They have a fully stocked bar, jukebox, plenty of booths and bar stools, and a boxing game. They are also a pizza place and I must say that their pizza is AMAZING!!! I would eat Rusty's pizza every day if I could!

The type of people who hang around here can be sketchy at some times. It seems to be a local spot for a couple different motorcycle clubs, but they aren't here every weekend.

I'd recommend this place as your starting bar. Have some pizza and a few beers, then head off to bigger and better places!

Rusty's is THE place to get a burger in Tracy!  You only have a small window of availability...11-2 I think...so make it fast!

Big juicy patty (you can tell it was hand-formed not some frozen mystery meat!) with a nice bun.  It comes with mayo which I declined (ew!!!) and lettuce and tomato.  Squeeze bottles of ketchup and mustard on the table...and you are set!

Best part is...the burger (which must be 1/3 pound), your choice of chips (plain or bbq), potato salad or macaroni salad, AND a draft beer or pop...is only $6!!

I've heard their pizza is phenomenal too...just haven't had the opportunity to hit them for dinner yet!

It's a little dive bar kinda place...but it truly is an amazing burger...TRY IT!!!

This is a solid local dive. Arrived fairly late on the Saturday after New Years Eve and the place was fairly mellow... in a good way. I didn't see a single person who wasn't having a good time.

They had some pong action going on. The decor is that of a hard rocking biker bar; the type one might expect to find trouble. In the words of my hispanic friend who accompanied me to this bar "I was just relieved they didn't have a confederate flag on the walls".

We were fish out of water but quickly felt at home. Within minutes we had made friends with some of the regulars. A dude even drove his motor cycle in the back door and out again.

Tap selection was small but good, sierra nevada celebration, stella, blue moon, widmer, and two others.

Short and skinny, had a great time and I see myself heading back next time I'm out visiting my friends in Tracy.

I didn't know what to expect from this place.  Was looking for a place to watch my beloved Bruins get smoked by the Oregon Ducks on the way from Fresno (work) to San Francisco.

As soon as I stepped in, this place was packed with people watching the Giant's game.  Stepped up to the bar and was told about the $2 draft beer special.  Ordered 2 beers only to be told it was on the owner!

They even generously allowed us to switch TVs to the aforementioned UCLA-Ducks game despite the big Giant's playoff game.  Rusty came over and introduced himself.  Extremely friendly, as were all the patrons.  He even sent over another round of beers on the house!  Which was great consolation when my Bruins were getting destroyed.  He even gave us a shoutout during the middle of the 7th inning of the Giant's game!

Pizza was good.  Not healthy style, but came stacked with meat.  Service was attentive.

What is there not to like!! I'll definitely be stopping by on my next chance.  Couldn't imagine a friendlier and more generous owner/staff.

A little hole in the wall bar. Went here to have lunch with my coworkers. We all had the New York Steak Sandwich. I ordered mine medium & it was cooked just right. You would think a steak sandwich means a lot of chewing, but not this sandwich. My teeth chewed right through the meat with no problem. It was nice & tender. All it had was bread, the steak, a squeeze bottle of A-1 Sauce & either a potatoe salad (which I had), or a bag of chips. For the price of $10, it was well worth it!

    Rusty's!

This place is brings me back to reality every time I visit the city of Tracy.

Both my brother and sister went to HS with Rusty.

It's a local dive bar loved by many; I think quite a few Tracy High School reunion after parties have been held here...

Here's one place where you can get some AMAZING pizza!

No joke. This pizza was excellent.

And this, coming from a city slicker.

    Cheap drinks, cheap food.

MMMM-MMMMMM-MMMMM!  The hamburgers are delicious char-broiled....YUMM.  I hear the steak is really good too (and pizza).  Reasonably priced (3 adults had lunch for under $30). The burgers are big and very tasty.   No problem here with the "local" / "not local" stuff.  I met Rusty and a couple of other folks...all very nice.  Plus, bartender Vivian is a long time friend and favorite bartender from Alviso in my neck of the woods.  We took a motorcycle ride from San Jose to have lunch and I loved it and can't wait to go back.  The jukebox has good tunes and the people are friendly.   think i'll try the steak next time....or maybe the pizza, can't decide but it just doesn't matter - I'm going back.  Patti

Rusty's has awesome pizza and The owners are awesome as well.  If your not from Tracy or the area you may feel like an outsider but spark a conversation with a person or two and people will talk to you;)

Rusty is a great guy who treats his regulars well. The drinks are cheap but that's not what its about. The local secret is that it makes the best pizza in town and I agree. Its greasy, its unhealthy and its amazing.

The former Tracy Joe's is now Rusty's. Owned by Rusty.

A place very much for locals. Ancient Tracy High jerseys, from when the Bulldogs WON THE SECTION, grace the walls. You can run into old high school football coaches, old high school football players (which means they're 25 or 30), and Tracy Little League dads hellbent on getting their 12 year olds to the LLWS and hellbenter on telling you all about it. Love you, Bob F.

Decent enough place. Jukebox. No pool tables. Good draft selection. Tasty pizza. Lots of booth seating.

You'll feel like an outsider if you are one -- but at least they won't bullshit you.
