I had to see what all the hype was about this place, so some friends and I decided to do dinner. Â We all had the filet & shrimp special and it was as to be expected. Â I agree with a previous reviewer that the shrimp were overloaded with seasoning. Â My steak was cooked perfectly and did come out sizzling in butter. Â We ordered brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus as the sides and they were enough for all three of us to share and still have some to take home. Â The brussel sprouts were especially good, roasted with honey. Â I would have liked the asparagus better if they were grilled and not steamed. Â Mashed potatoes were the usual garlic mashed potatoes and the mushrooms were sauteed nicely. Â The dessert, was a combination of a chocolate peanut butter cupcake and some berries and cream. Â The cupcake was good, but very, very rich and I would have been fine with just the berries and cream. Â Overall the dinner was good. Â The steak was not anything special, but I do eat mine well done, so I'm not a steak connoisseur. Â It was definitely better quality than something you would order at Outback. Â
I would go back for a special occasion or to have dinner with my husband, but I wouldn't frequent this place. Â I would also order something off of the regular menu instead of the special to experience what the other options offer. Â
The service on the other hand was exceptional. Â Our server was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for our meal. Â The servers assistants were also very attentive.
The restaurant is located in Harrah's casino, I arrived right at closing & expected to be turned away. To my surprise, I was seated with a smile. I ordered the ribeye, mushrooms & baked potato. OMG the steak melted in my mouth, best steak ever, cooked just right. The mushrooms are huge, a perfect marriage to the steak. The baked potato was very fresh & full of flavor! Â This experience was worth every penny!
