Stopped in here with a friend after a bit of golf at Bob-O-Links on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty empty, but as I said it was a Sunday afternoon. Anyway we sat at the bar to grab a quick burger and a drink.

The bartender promptly pointed out some current drink specials and made short work of bringing us a couple of bottles. Since I only looked at the specials I didn't study the different options they offer in the way of beer but it looked like they had 8-10 taps of pretty standard stuff and an average sized (15ish) bottle list.

Anyway for food I decided to go with the bacon blue cheese burger. It's called something Charlie Sheen related that I don't remember right now but it was your standard bacon blue cheese burger. Originally it came out without the bacon but when I brought that up to the bartender he instantly went back to the kitchen and got me a few rashers. The burger a quite good. I'm a medium rare guy knowing I'll usually end up getting medium but this was cooked just right.

I'm not typically around the area to frequent this place but next time I'm cursing my terrible golf game after hitting 90 at Bob-O-Links I'll remember Flappy's and stop in again for a drink.

Nice environment and nice seating but food is ok.. It really depends on what you order. The pizza was really greasy and was not anything special. The Burger was pretty good. My mom ordered the Salad and they were not generous on the chicken at all, just a few pieces here and there, definitly not enough for the meal.

What I do have to say that was great was the appetizer, the Stuffed Banana Peppers. They were awesome.

There service was good to, very nice guy, and on time with drinks and food. Can't say that this place is going to be my regular but it was ok.

Went there last night for the Friday Fish Fry with my gf.....

I got the deep fried beer battered fish....I will saw the fish was excellent, very tender, and fresh....The batter was pretty crispy as well...The tartar sauce was excellent - so good that I went through 4 of them !!! lol.......My gf got the cajun broiled....She said the fish was amazing, very moist and tender....

So the fish was great, but now the sides....This is what brings the rating down to a 3....We both agreed that the macaroni salad while cooked right had no flavor at all....I had to eat another fork full just to make sure my taste buds hadn't taken off on vacation, lol....Yes no flavor in the mac salad.....

The cole slaw was fresh, and had a great snap/crispiness to it....Really perfect texture wise, but once again there was no flavor to it at all. too bad....This cole slaw really needs some kind of ZING added to it..Also the mac and slaw sides were both very very small.....

I also got the Loaded Fries for my potato side...The portion was generous...These were what appeared to be homemade fries (dirty grease too?) smothered with bacon and cheese.....They definitely put enough bacon on....The cheese was real as it had re-hardened back on top of the fries...So hard that in order to eat it I had to man-handle the fries with a fork and knife in order to eat it.....It comes with a side of Spicy Ranch dressing....Over all I will give the fries 3 out of 5....Surprisingly nothing special as I am a big fan of fries with junk on top of them....I actually like Denny's smothered fries more than these....

My gf also got the German Potato salad which she could not eat due to her diet so I tried them...Meh, ok....I'm a sucker for anything with vinegar...So I liked the tangy taste at first, but other than that I thought they were really lacking....Again not much flavor here either....I could be spoiled though as my gf makes a killer German Potato salad....

Servers were polite, and the restaurant was clean.

Also somewhere I saw online that the fish fry was $9.99....This is no longer the case....The price for a fish fry is now $13.

Great place for good food in a clean, casual, family setting.  The fish soup is outstanding and the pub grub styled food deserves a review slot on Diner's, Drive Ins  and Dives. If you don't want it fancy but you want it good...this place is a winner.

Not a fan of Flappy's. Been here about 4 times over the last 3 years hoping that it would improve. Service is slow, rude and just plain bad. Food is hit or miss. Feels dirty. The only reason we would consider going here would be if some of the better choices had a very long wait - and even then I migh opt to just go home.

The Greyside Grille & Flappy's Pub is housed in a good-looking two story building on the corner of Transit Rd & Seneca St on the Elma/W. Seneca border.
The areas surrounding the building and its ample parking lots were festooned with enough dandelions to produce multiple barrels of that weedy wine.

The funeral breakfast guests were pointed toward a stairway to access the 2nd floor banquet rooms. A lift to the upper floor is available for the infirm.
The room's appointments were stark and well-worn.
A malfunctioning towel dispenser in the upper men's room allowed me to dry my hands on my sport jacket.

The breakfast fare served was quite good.
Sausages - nicely browned, non greasy
    Scramblers - moist & fresh
French toast w/glazed apples - yum
    Home fries - crispy
Pastry, Muffin & Bagel tray w/whipped cream cheese  - ho-hum
Fresh Melon & Strawberries - nice

A full but smallish bar occupied a corner of the room.
Its inexperienced bartender was my greatest delight.
My Bombay OTR was served is an iced-tea glass full to the rim with spirit at a tariff of $4. One was plenty.

I had the pleasure of celebrating the wonderfully full and long life of a family's matriarch. Children, grands and great grands tearlessly related  stories of this fine woman.
    A morning well spent.

I may visit the lower level to see what the "flap" is all about.
The third star is for the bartending.

Shhloppy's has one thing going for it and that one thing is Deep Fried Pickles, oh my god I've died and gone to heaven, can I have another order of the deep fried salty goodness?  [she faints dead away]

Oh, where was I?   Everything else, from:

    1. The "patio"--which is fully covered and surrounded by a privacy fence so you can't partake of the view of the parking lot.

    to:

    2.  The "service"--If I have to ask if you have table service on the patio, this may cause you to realize that something is "up", being "slow service".  If I have to ask you if you need help bringing my drinks out, maybe this should clue you in to Speed The Fuck Up.

    and then on to...

    3.  The food--is crappy, flappy!
