Went at an off hour so I wasn't hungry enough for any of the meals although they looked delicious, if not expensive.
Had the Thousand Island Pale Ale which was delicious, just slightly hoppy and not very bitter. It's a perfect traditional IPA. I also had a few sips of the 1812 which was light and fruity, but I think I like the IPA better.
Also enjoyed the Cajun Tots which weren't spicy at all, and the salad which was delicious.
I wasn't super impressed by the food, probably could have tried more of the beers and enjoyed that. Pretty expensive for nothing mind blowing though.
I had a filet mignon which was overcooked, but that may have been my fault since I asked for it medium...probably not my fault, but maybe. Â Ambiance is very good, and the beer is decent. Â Don't get me wrong, given the choice between Sackets Harbor 1812 Amber and a mass market brew, I'd get the 1812, but in the world of ambers it was just ok. Â At the time, I don't think an IPA was available. Â I would definately go here again to give it a second shot, but for beer there is a bar just down the road a bit with a better beer selection in my opinion.
