Dont buy this lunch Groupon it is a total SCAM!!! Â First of all you can only use it for lunch and the place is only open for lunch one day a week on Sundays through the summer until it expires. What a scam!!!! Second of all the service is TERRIBLE...the waiter is a complete idiot and handed us cocktail napkins with out food, no silverware, the food is messy....you need a STACK of regular napkins....obviously people with kids need A LOT of napkins...they had some party going on in the back so we had to sit at a pub table with our baby sitting about three feet below us in a high chair which was stupid and annoying....food is mediocre and underwhelming....service sucks. Groupon is deceiving and wish I never purchased from a business that is SO unethical to try to run such a SCAM!!! I will not be going back. I dont know why businesses do a Groupon like this only to seriously piss people off.
Review Source:We bought a groupon certificate to try this place out and was pleasantly surprised. Â They gave us healthy portions that were tasty and our server was gave us his attention when asked about changes in our order. Â Our food came quickly and was very good.
In addition, the dining area was clean unlike a lot of places we visit.
1 star is kind. 3 years in The Hills and we had always heard to avoid this place. Learned why tonight.
Ordered 2 flat-iron steaks medium-rare. Got 2 medium-well gray steaks. Hate to be the person to return food, not my style. We let our waitress know that they were way over-cooked, to let the cook know he was going overboard, to ease off the flames a bit for the benefit of others. Â Tough as shoe leather. Â She didn't even attempt to make amends. Got our bill w/o even being asked if we'd like anything else, dessert, coffee, etc. Â Absolutely stunned to not be offered a free beer, dessert, or discount. Â
Our courtesy and decency got us $33 for shoe leather, plus beverages and tip. Hurt to leave 15%, always leave over 20%, but I know our waitress didn't even say anything to cook or manager. Who doesn't try to upsell dessert or a beer? Â She didn't deserve the 15%, but I just couldn't stiff her they way she stiffed us. Â
I'm so tired of paying for sub-par stuff. Happens too frequently in way too many industries. I do believe I will be disputing the charge on my credit card - which I have never done before. Saddens me.
