Ordered the full rack of baby back ribs and the green beans side. Â The ribs had no smoke ring, Â slight grill marks just to show they threw them on a hot grill for a few minutes. Â These ribs were cooked in the oven for a long time. Â They were good but not my style of ribs. Â The waitress was attentive. Â I will keep looking for a bbq place in NC that I like.
Review Source:Staff is extremely friendly, and works very hard, but lacks cohesion. Â They were packed on a Monday night and seemed understaffed (though to their credit they were training a new employee). Â They seemed stretched, as the waitresses and bartender were helping with hosting, and I was asked by a couple people after sitting at the bar if I had been helped (same with being seated before I decided to sit at the bar). Â In the end its better to be over helped than ignored so I see this as an overall neutral comment.
Decor was great, but the bar stools were uncomfortably low to the bar. Â I didn't sit in booths or seats so I have no comment on the majority of the restaurant seating. Â
I had a ribeye that was prepared exactly to temperature. Â The potatoes and sweet potatoes looked huge, but I had two other sides that were good, but small. Â Overall, the food lacked surprise and tasted as expected but was a smaller portion than one would expect for the price. Â Alcohol prices seemed reasonable.
In summary, the staff had a fantastic attitude and could peak to great service once they learn to work together. Â The food was good, but small for the price. Â 3/5 all around.
Some of their menu items are really good but most are about what you would expect from a place like this. Service is average. I really only have two complaints with Sagebrush. Their bar is expensive compared to other  bars in the area, and their restaurant could use a good cleaning from top to bottom. Their tables, chairs and condiment bottles are usually sticky. I don't mind the crunch of peanut hulls on the floor so long as their isn't food  and garbage mixed with them.
Review Source:A saloon they say-- Â more like a peanut hull factory! No seriously, they give their patrons roasted peanuts and tell them to throw the shells on the floor, it's kinda wild. Â It's a really laid back country atmosphere.
A good bit of my family like this place-- actually I think they all do-- yah, yah and that includes me. Â The food is pretty good here I absolutely love their baked sweet potato-- that thing is heaven on earth. Â They are largest sweet potatoes I think I've ever seen. Â They put a good bit of butter and cinnamon sugar on there and it's all over-- Oh good golly Ms. Molly, you've gone and slapped your Mama! Â Aside from the baked potato, I sometimes get the grilled chicken salad, because that potato is the bomb!
They've got  this cool train that travels around the outer perimeter of the bar area and my little cousin loves trains.  He knows all the Thomas the train characters.  So this is a great place for kids too.
