I've had the pleasure of visiting the Saint on a few occasions, all of them included seeing a show! The other reviewers got this place described spot on - the experience at the Saint is very intimate filled with good people, great sound, and cheap beer!
You can find parking by the railroad tracks and there are empty lots in the surrounding blocks - never a problem. Tickets to see shows are usually pocket friendly at $15-20 a ticket. Inside there is literally no bad spot to see the show - if you can get up front right by the bar you are essentially good for the rest of the night! :) I will be coming here again and again to see some of my favorite reggae rock bands entertain the crowd!
I was impressed with The Saint!
_ a green room for musicians to lounge
_ a gear room to stash instruments (used to be a kitchen)
_ clean bathroom
_ curtain for stage
_ sound was extraordinary (go Hinge - the sound guy!) - controlled remotely on iPad!
_ old posters/stickers all over every wall = fun
_ friendly staff & patrons
_ outdoors: chairs outside for patrons (or smokers) to lounge, ambient lights in tree and in windows, word of a beer garden coming soon in the back of the bar.
Will return.
