Everything I've tried from Sake has been delicious.  If you're looking for a sushi restaurant with a better atmosphere than the other sushi restaurants in town then Sake is your best bet.

I would have given it four stars but a recurring theme with Sake is how slow the service is.  Seating is quick but the actual service time while sitting is very slow.  I have been at all times of the day and every visit we wait and wait and wait for service.  It doesn't matter if they're busy or if the restaurant is mostly empty, we've still had to wait.  If you're not in a hurry or if you can go after work then the long wait time won't be an issue.  If you're going on your lunch hour then I would suggest calling your order in ahead to avoid the long wait.

Great Service!  The waitress was very helpful in giving us advice on what to order.  We ordered the Gecko- which isn't on the menu- and the surf and turf.  Both were delicious, but I loved the Gecko!  The flavor was wonderful and the sauce perfect.  The martini's were great as well.   Yes, they still have Mojo's tables, but you have to make money to spend money.  I hope Fort Smith supports this awesome Sushi bar!  The atmosphere was great- they had the window walls open and it was a beautiful night with a slight breeze.  We will definitely go again and try more of their signature dishes!

We've gone here a handful of times. Good food but over priced. Waitstaff has high turnover so you never know if they know the menu. Speaking of the menu, it isn't complete. They have many other dishes than whats on the slightly sad excuse for a menu as I've read reviews on items that aren't on it. We go for lunch and there's only been a handful of people each time we go. If you order a salad, it's good to share with the whole table. Huge plate and way more salad than a 'before meal' salad should be. Sushi has always been good but I like mine a bit colder. They're trying to introduce many types of 'creamy' drizzles over the sushi which I'm really not a fan of drowning it but I've tried a few and it was nice. Can't remember the names. It was a 'hot' one and it was warm! Good food if you want to spend a little more.

Good sushi for this area. Could be a little more flavorful. Have eaten here one other time and it was better the first time. Could work on the atmosphere. Get new tables instead of using the last restaurants. Workers were nice.

    Good food. Nice atmosphere-
The live music can be a bit loud, But the staff is very nice, and the decor is cool.

The seaweed salad is definitely worth getting.

I'd definitely visit there again next time I'm in Ft. Smith

I wish 0 stars was an option. They took over Mojo's after they went out of business and everything looks exactly the same with the Mojo's tables and sign except for seats on the stage, an amateur artist's painting of a dragon that looks like a cartoon over the bar, and some vases with bamboo twigs scattered around for "Asian theme."

First, service was slow at lunch. There were two other tables, one server, and three people behind the bar that no one was seated at. Refills took forever, the server would walk past us while looking the other way. As a former server this is totally unacceptable service.

Second, the menus were lacking information on several items, had terrible grammar and spelling, and were thick paper with soy sauce stains on them. Most items aren't even real sushi. Fried catfish roll?

Third, when I asked if they had a seaweed salad appetizer, the server said she didn't know. I found one a few minutes later, it wasn't labeled very clearly on the menu. It was over $8 if I recall, completely absurd for something that comes from a freezer that I can buy at any of the four Asian markets in town with sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Every other sushi place I've been to charges about four dollars for the stuff. Then the server didn't know what an item without a description on the menu was when I asked and never returned with an answer. Really? WTF is an avocado bowl? I still don't know. You were cute, Server, but so bad at your job.

Fourth, our food was dropped off by the server and then we had to ask for chopsticks, soy sauce, etc... How do you forget a place setting?

Fifth, the food was terrible. The rice tasted like it was plain white rice with no seasoning. No slightly sweet/tangy, no sugar or rice vinegar detectable at all. I've had better sushi at a dive bar made by a red haired punk rocker in a leather jacket. Presentation was sloppy from the pile of roll slices to the ugly wad of wasabi. You eat first with your eyes, at least make your crappy food look good.

Sixth, OUR ROLLS WERE MISSING INGREDIENTS LISTED ON THE MENU! Mine, named after the street the restaurant is on, was missing sprouts while my Mom's was missing the masago on the outside. When the owner lady came by to ask how everything was, I told her these complaints. I should have had her try one of the unseasoned rolls, but she insisted that she watches the cooks season the rice daily and it WAS seasoned. When I complained about the missing ingredients, she apologized with a deer in the headlights look on her face and went to get us new rolls made, but came back saying they were out of sprouts, offered no roll with masago, and instead offered us one of her favorite rolls to go. It would have been one thing if the server had said they were out of stuff when she brought it, (or god forbid while we were ordering them... I thought checking the 86's was part of serving?) but to just ignore it? It says on the menu that the Tornado roll some kind of sauce flavor explosion in your mouth. It was a California roll with spicy sauce (sriracha and mayo, lacking on the sriracha) and some kind of bland baked breaded seafood casserole piled on top. Half of it turned rock hard in my refrigerator if that says anything. Total crap.

There you have it, 6 reasons to avoid this extremely sub-par, edible at best sushi joint. I've heard they have dollar drafts these days, maybe that will keep them afloat.a Maybe they were still working out the kinks at the time we went, or maybe they just are that bad. Lesson learned? Keep going to Shogun for sushi in Fort Smith.
