  It's been a long, long time since I've been to this little gem. I'll be back in the area this weekend and shopping for something special at Salamone's will be a priority.
  We would always stop in when visiting my grandparents in Fredericktown. The wonderful smell, getting to choose something special from the deli, those huge, swirl lollipops that I never saw anywhere else.........funny how a little deli can bring a big smile.  Can't wait to stop in Saturday.

  Wonderful little market in the middle of nowhere. The bulk olives and antipasta make me feel like a kid in a candy store. The employees are all friendly and helpful and give you samples of everything whether you ask or not. The marinated baby corn is worth the drive alone.
  
  The store is very tiny but if you're looking for quality imported meats, cheeses, olives and hand made pasta outside city limits, this is your place!
