The food was ok, but when there is a big event in town they are understaffed at lunch time, resulting in long service times, frazzled staff, and errors in the kitchen. Several tables were late to their next meetings, had to leave food uneaten, etc. If you have less than an hour available to eat, don't order food (even simple items like soup, salad, or chili) if more than two tables are waiting for their orders, or you will end up paying for food you never got a chance to taste.
Review Source:The food here is really awesome. Â You can't beat their wings (make sure you try their homemade blue cheese) and burgers. Â And the drinks are made perfectly every time. Â I have never had any luck with service sitting in the dining area (actually most of the time you are ignored), but at the bar you get great service. Â So if you like the bar, this place is awesome. Â Also, their calamari is definitely worth a try!
Review Source:Just got back from the 1st Wine tasting luncheon. Â The assortment of wines were very good, and with each wine they served food to compliment the wine. Â Great Food, Great Wine, Great Company. Â Can't wait til Dec 2 to try the next assortment of wines.. Â I think the "Relax" Riesling could be my new favorite wine...
Review Source:I am a local and i waited and waited .. we were ignored for 20 minutes. the witness came over toward our table and passes us to tell the table behind us to please be patient . and that their food would be out shortly  (she ignored us with closed menus) after we  heard this a we left .. first impression here was not good.
Review Source:Good burgers. The waitress warned us that the outlaw wings were too hot so we ordered the hot wings which were very good but not quite hot enough...we ordered a side of the outlaw sauce and added it carefully for a very good combination....the outlaw sauce alone would have been way too hot so good advice from waitress.
We enjoyed the meal and would go back again.
My Mexican Coffee was excellent. Â The Tilapia Oreganata was wonderful but the side of corn was underwhelming and the side of penne with marinara wasn't anything to write home about. Â I gave half of It to my friend who then said it was over-cooked. Â I originally wanted to sub the side of pasta / potato with the grilled asparagus but they wouldn't let me without charging me for the full side...so they lost a star for that. My fi has the side of spinach, which he wasn't too impressed by, but he did like his basket of ribs. Our other friend had the blacked chicken, which he thought was grea but didn't like the sides either. Â The sweet potato waffle fries were really good, though we tried not to eat them. Â The salad our dish came with was jus iceberg lettuce, so nothing too fancy there either. Â My fish hit the spot though so I left satisfied, I'd come back for the same or something different.
Review Source:My friends and I all want to like this place. The ambience is nice, some of the food is pretty good, and it always seems like a great alternative to everything else in the area. The prices are definitely a little inflated - $17 for a bowl of subpar pasta? We've come here numerous times while in town for different events, and every time the service has been mediocre at best, or even bad.
Most recently, we went during dinner when it wasn't actually that busy. There seemed to be waitstaff everywhere, and the dining room was a little less than half full. Our waitress wasn't very nice, and she wasn't attentive at all. We all ordered water to start, and while we got two pitchers pretty quickly, getting them refilled during the two hours we were there was difficult. She only ever refilled one despite us asking multiple times. We were pretty simple in our orders, and yet it took an extremely long time to get our food, and two of our orders were messed up. We two both ordered the french onion soup in a bread bowl. She brought both out in a crock, and we were so hungry we thought about keeping them, but they didn't have the corn bread side they apparently normally have (and no substitute was offered), so we sent them back to get our proper order. The two of us didn't get food until the rest were halfway through their meals, and there was no apology. There were four in our party to start, but four more joined, putting us in their automatic 18% gratuity bracket. Okay, fine, lots of places do that, but we didn't get 18% tip's worth of service. When we got the bill, we asked that it be reprocessed without the gratuity. On the second bill, though, our French onion soup orders came up as non-bread bowled at $5.95 a piece...plus an additional $3 each to add the bread bowl that we initially ordered in the first place (the menu price for the soup in bread bowl was $7.95). I know it's just a dollar, but it's kind of the principle of the thing - we get bad service, our order is screwed up, and then they try to charge us extra.
Maybe it's a good place to go if you've got a hankering for steak, and maybe they're nicer to the locals, but we'll be skipping the Saloon on our next trip.
You walk into this place and are in awe at the size. Huge bar with bands on Friday nights. They have nightly drink and dinner specials. The dining room is really nice. It is seperated from the bar area. It has a door with access to the deck. The steaks are awesome. You must try their Signature Saloon Smokehouse Burger. If you are really daring, try the super hot Outlaw Wings...so delicious. If you are lucky, you will go there on a night they have their amazing Shrimp Bisque. Free wifi too!!
