Good ole Sam's Kitchen!

This is the place to go for breakfast in DeWitt. Dependable, reasonably priced, and (relatively) easy to get a seat. DeWitt is a small town and as soon as you walk in here, you are quite aware of that. I always manage to see some old high school classmates.

Cinnamon roles are gigantic and pretty good. My husband always gets the chorizo omelet and my friend gets the 50/50, both good. The breakfast buffet is pretty well stocked and popular. I only wish they had eggs benedict on the menu.

Be sure to catch the wall  near the entrance. Not sure if all area high schools do this but the sports teams dress up with a theme, have their picture taken, then have these printed on large posters  with their schedule. Pretty entertaining. This town loves its high school sports, that's for sure.
