Grill? When I was there last week, it was just a bar.

....and a pretty odd one at that. Didn't get the friendliest vibe after I told the bartender I was from California. Instead of sports, HBO was blaring on the TV. Attempts to make conversation were futile. I finally left after I finished my drink.

Truly a "locals bar".

Just ate here while staying in Gold Beach for the night.  Its a mexican place attached to a bar.  Really quiet on a Thurs night, even though it was full--needed a bit more music I think.  Pretty good mexican food, good price, good salsa.  Definitely a good spot, glad we chose it over the questionable looking seafood places around.

Four stars for value and friendly service.  This is a nice family-owned place.  It's a small town and I think the menu is more Tex-Mex than anything authentically mexican, but the food is very very affordable and the portions are generous.  A good stop if you're driving through on the way to the beach.
