Ok So we have been coming to Cambria a couple times a year for the last 21 years. Love the area, love this little town!
But somthing was always missing. ...
A place to hang out while my wife shops for Antiques (aka overpriced old stuff)
Well Cambria Ale House to the rescue (aka husband day care)
Great spot, great selection of brews, great place to hang out and enjoy a good craft beer and some good conversation!
The owner Jeff is all about introducing people to a variety of beer styles.
Today Brandon, (also proprieter of the Bridge Street Inn, and a very cool guy) served us some great stuff!
If you like beer this place is a no Brainer, if not (sad story) come here and learn to!
So excited Cambria finally has a craft brew spot to enjoy unique craft beers and there is even wine for the non beer lover. Â We have been visiting Cambria for 17 years and this will be our new hang out when we are in town. Â Owner is very nice and I look forward to the new selections of beer he plans to add. Â He already has a nice selection of beer on tap and tons of options in the bottles to drink there or buy and take home to enjoy. Â The place is cozy and friendly! Â We plan to stop in again tonight.
Review Source:This is THE spot in Cambria for craft beer lovers and those who want a cozy and comfortable place to hang out and try some new beers. Owner is very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about beer. Excellent selection including some hard to find local brews that aren't distributed (owner drives to the brewery to get the beer!). There are plans to expand the selection and put seating outside. I highly recommend supporting this business and good beer in Cambria!
Review Source:For the beer connoisseur!
Excellent microbrew on tap as well as a growing selection of beers that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The owner truly appreciates fine beer and will gladly give you his recommendations. "Beer is where wine was 10 years ago" is how he explained the recent American microbrew craze. I couldn't have agreed more. Â Despite the location, the price was very reasonable. I truly enjoyed sitting down and having a nice conversation with some great brew. While I personally am not a huge wine fan, the other guests who were there for the wine seemed impressed and enjoyed themselves.
I will definitely make the trip back up to Cambria for the beer tasting events! It would totally be worth the 4 hour drive.
