Senape's Tavern Pitza

I had supper here last night with the family.  Our reservation was for 4:30 and the place quickly filled up.  I hadn't been here in three years and nothing has changed.  We started with an antipasto which was simple but good.  Thick slices of homemade bread accompanied it.  It took about an hour for the Scamutz with sausage to come out of the kitchen.  It was delicious.  There was only one waitress working the floor.  The place has a one room dining area that can get rather noisy.  The loud mouth Democrat next to our table talked politics all night.  I wish people like that would just stay home.  The next time I come here I'll seriously consider bringing earplugs.

the place is dirty the tables are sticky the walls are greasy and the decor is old but.... WHO CARES.. the food is great. Got a square pizza or as they would say PITZA with onions and sweet peppers and a large antipasta. Well the Salad could of used some work but it still wasn't bad. The pitza makes up for it.. The crust is think and doughy and the cheese is just the right blend.... Def will visit again.

As far as the pizza/pitza is concerned, the bakery and tavern are much farther apart the their geographic location just around the corner from each other would suggest! However, they are both excellent - albeit different - establishments.

I've tried a lot of items on the menu over the years, but I must say that ordering my favorite "square/red/scamutz/onions" pitza will yield a unique experience not available any where else in our galaxy!
