The standard bearer in the dearth of good food in Latrobe.   Looking for casual but good in this town -- keep driving.  Standard wings, typical frozen factory made ribs, over sauced with generic BBQ Sauce....  not worth the calories.   And the service - competent - but indifferent........

I asked the waitress for the best thing on the menu and she recommended a philly cheese steak wrap and it was delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, they have pool and a few arcade games, although I have to add that their fooseball table has been broken for a while (boo, fooseball is my favorite). Lots of TVs and free shots each time the Steelers make a touchdown or the Pens score a goal. I really like this place.

Pizza was amazing, service was great. It would be 5 stars but the dirty popcorn containers kinda freak me out a little :)

Come on sharkys... you need to step it up if you think you are ever going to compete with Dinos.  The wings were alright, but they were soooo breaded and extremely fried.  You could barely tell there was meat underneath the breading.  The ranch flavored wings were unique, but basically all they consisted of were wings that were spun in ranch dressing... They were very yummy, but after 5 of them, my stomach started feeling sick from all the breading.  I will try you again sharkys, but for now, Dinos still has my heart!

A decent sports bar with better than average food.  I've enjoyed whatever I've eaten here, from wings through steaks, and there is plenty to choose from.  Sharkey's is a bit limited in their beer selection, but they're all cold.  The wait staff is friendly and seem to enjoy conversation.  In spite of this I've never felt that our table wasn't receiving prompt service.

Their wings are good, but breaded. I prefer mine naked and crispy. That said, their Buffalo Extreme sauce is great; nice and hot, but not killer (I love spicy food). Their Ballistic are too hot for me. I ate them once and they were good, but it's a bit of hard work for me. I think it's the Buffalo Extreme sauce with chunks of habaneros. While it tastes pretty good, the heat is too much.

They have a damn fine turkey burger (grilled onions, mushrooms and jalapenos if you ask). The blackened salads are great too. They come with roasted red potatoes and a choice of seafood. Definitely work a try.

Their mashed potatoes are also good, as is the steak, though the steak is a tad too salty. They have specials through the week that keep changing so there's always a reason to come back.

They have a reasonable selection of beers. Nothing crazy, but once again they have Sam Adams and their seasonal, so that's a win for me.

Beers for me a slightly more expensive than Dino's (about $.75 more per 16oz draft for Sam Adams). I'm not in the mug club, but I'm told the mug club is largely just for domestics (Coors Lt., Miller Lt, etc.). That and who wants to drink out of that goofy mug?

They show tons of hockey. They have the NHL Center Ice package, so even if it's not on when you arrive you can probably get them to change to a game (assuming no other major games are going on).

Sharky's Cafe is legendary in my mind. I grew up in Westmoreland County, and discovered this place back in 2000. It was my first taste of buffalo wings, and I was quickly hooked. From my early high school days where I would tag along with my older brother, to my late high school/early college days, where I would make multiple appearances over the two weekly wing nights, and now to my yearly visit back home to PA, where Sharky's is the only MUST DO in my itinerary, the wings have never failed.

The service is a bit varied here. You may get an excellent waitress, you may have to flag yours down for any help at all, but the service is not what I go here for. Plain and simple, it is all about the FOOD. Spectacular flavor. Nothing I've ever ordered here has disappointed (nor has the company I've been with disagreed). Good selection of sauces and spiciness levels for the wings...the Sweet n' Hot is a great lower-spice flavor, the Buffalo and Buffalo Extreme are both tangy and flavorful, the Golden Hot has a great mustard taste, the Ballistic is oozing with the signature Habenero flavor and spice, and the crown jewel of it all...the KOREAN sauce. A perfect blend of sweet & sour, savory, and spice...there is no match for it. I've lived in two of the top three metropolitan areas in our country, and I've never found any match for these sauces (and oddly enough, one of the better competitors (though still no comparison) is Dino's, a mile down the road). If you like the wings, try your favorite sauce in a Spicy Chicken pizza as a replacement for the traditional Italian sauce...I dare you to eat an entire Ballistic pizza!

Atmosphere here is pretty good, lots of TVs and nightly specials depending on what games are on, lots of Pittsburgh sports fans, and sometimes during Steelers training camp you can catch the players here as well! Average tap beer selection, has all the standard favorites but not much in the way of micro-brews. There are some pool tables as well, an arcade/air hockey room, the bar area, the standard restaurant area, and a small room for private parties as well.

All in all, don't miss this spot if you are in Southwestern PA...even on non-wing night, it is worth the extra cash to try the Korean wing sauce! One of my top 5 restaurants I've ever gone to in my life!

I must say that I love buffalo wings.....and these are the best wings that I have ever had.  I really love the buffalo wing salad with the sweet n' hot sauce on them.

I would eat here every day if I could......its so good that even the Steelers love it here!!!!

Food is pretty good but the service is slow.  Pretty decent location for a hang-out spot.

I've tried it a couple of times and the food is sub-par.  The wings had an odd rubbery chew to them, the pizza was stiff and not tasty and the sauces all seemed store bought.

    Cannot recommend this place.

I've tried this restaurant several times and have found the service poor and the food okay.

If you are just looking for a bar and you want to shoot pool, it's okay.

I like this place a lot, great wings and great crispy chicken salad.  Lots of pool tables if you like to play a little bit of pool after your dinner.
