I used to visit this spot every now and then when I lived in the area. Â I had dropped in the other day for a sense nostalgia.
Nothing has changed since I'd left the valley seven or so years ago. Â Nothing.
It's still a cave. Â It's still in the state of worn out, hasn't-been-updated-since-it-opened look.
It's also still cheap, which is great.
The lone employee was chipper and talkative. Â A good amount of regulars dropping in to shoot some pool. Â I was the lone dude hanging at the bar.
Tried the food. Â Zero things to write home about. Â Exactly what you'd expect from a divey pool hall. Â
If you're looking for a place that isn't jam packed and has cheap drinks, drop in. Â If you're looking for a high end pool hall or a hip dive bar (they exist, guaranteed), look elsewhere. Â These folks aren't intent on changing anything anytime soon, and for some that's a welcome thing.
Sir Williams from Lancaster... this pool hall is the best in Lancaster. Is my number one hangout place . Great atmosphere, great service and pool tables are the best. They have Monday league starting at 7pm.. 4 player BCA teams.. and on Wednesday 5 players BCA Pool League it also starts at 7pm. Â Friday is a 8-ball tournament with a $75 add in pot.
Whether you are a pro or just somebody who likes playing pool. You have to check out Sharky's. The best in the Antelope Valley pool hall.
If I could give it 0 I would. And if it seems like I'm an unsatisfied customer. I am. From the time I walked in to walked out the place proved to be a bad part of town. Which most know there are out here. But this place seems like the type of place that runs some of the dirtiest business in town. The parking lot was dim lit. The actual people working at the bar seemed like they had only been there for a couple days. And to be honest, the "manager" looked to be like she had partaken in a Bob Marley hang out group right before she helped me. When she helped me she was rude and condisending in her remarks and attitudes that my girlfriend was offended. And I honestly couldn't go any further. The inside was worse than the outside any way. Nothing special unless u go to the very back VIP and tournament section. Its a slum and they know it. I would stead well clear and hopefully we can get a friendlier more inviting place to play pool out here. But I was definatly dissatisfied. And to top it all off I feel like If it wasn't for a cop passing through I would have been robbed on my way to my car by some dude. Its sketched for sure.
