  This place is a total Hermann hole-in-the-wall, but the beer is SUPER cheap and the burgers are greasy good diner type burgers.  If you're an out of towner (like me), the locals will definitely be staring at you and wondering what you're doing at "their" spot.  The staff is very nice if you feel like striking up a conversation. This is not the Hermann "tourist" bar like the Barrell Bar or Bank Bar.  
  
  The decor is...interesting.   The owner has hung numerous old beehives throughout the ceiling and the paint is chipping off pretty much every wall.  I would also try not to use the bathrooms unless you're desperate.  They also have Keno and a jukebox.
  
  Basically, don't expect a classy joint if you go...it's not that, and it's not trying to be that.  It just is what it is.  Order a burger, enjoy a cold one and understand that you are an outsider in the local watering hole.

  I used to get lunch here all the time to take back to work. The trick was to get it back before the grease soaked through the bag. That never happened.
