"Hey Farva what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?"

    You mean Shenanigans?

Sorry guys I had to, this is what's going through my head every time I say the name of this bar. Super Troopers is a Cinematic Gem that must be quoted as many times as possible.

Anyhow I don't know about their mozzarella sticks, but the nachos are money.  Visiting family for the weekend I could see Shenanigans from my hotel, Hampton Inn Suites. This was great, because I could walk to it. It has a perfect pub feel.  It's laid back and the service was excellent.  I was here on a Thursday night and this place was packed.  This might be the only gig in town.  Their tap wall has about 25 beers on draft.  Its going to be your typical big brewery types.  They did have Saint Arnolds Amber and Alamo Golden Ale.  I decided to compliment my nachos with a Sierra Nevada.  It was perfect.  They have plenty of flat screens to catch the game.

Good service, fun crowd and beer towers makes this place a must for late night Shenanigans

WARNING.... ! There is not a local smoking ban so be prepared to smell like crap when you leave.

    Gotta love a good brew!
I haven't been here in a while but when i do go this place makes for a great night of fun.
Bring a group of friends; split the tab if cause it's a little pricy for a college student but it's totally worth it in the end.

I was curious to check out this "Irish" bar with my co-worker during a business trip. They had a pretty decent beer selection, with a microbrew or two. What really made the first night (and the second & the third) was the staff. Easily one of the most friendly set of bartenders I've encountered. When we asked if they could swap the TV to the Bruins game, we discovered the bartender was a Boston area native. Very cool to be in Brownsville & have some beers & a good conversation about hockey while the juke blasts hispanic pop.

The bathroom setup is.... unique. Some guy had wired the faucets with fishing line and would pump your soap for you while operating the tap from across the room, then would offer you a choice of cologne.

The food is the only reason I didn't give this place five stars. Nothing bad, just nothing great.
