Eric M. - if you asked to close your tab a 1:40 you can expect to wait for your receipt to sign until after 2. They stop serving at 2, and 1:40 is last call. They aren't going to stop serving drinks just to close you out, which will cause a slow down in their drink service. Next time close out after two.
Review Source:This place gets three stars.. should be two but .. $2.00 drinks really did it for me. This place is nothing special.. but it isnt bad either. It was a little dead when I went, but that is expected for a sunday.. Biggest con about this place is the music.. It is just way to fucking loud. I think I went a little deaf after visiting this place.. But if you are with friends this place is a good place to chill as long as you dont mind yelling at the top of your lungs at eachother.
Review Source:I went back on a Friday and had a pretty good time. It was quite full (unlike Wednesday), and people seemed to be of a wide range of ages, mostly queer/gay, and a healthy mix of ladies and guys. The drinks are priced fairly cheaply, the staff is extremely nice and the music is typical Brownsville club music. The male go-go dancers are cute and dance out in the crowd with everyone, as well as on the poles. The lady go-go dancer didn't really seem like a go-go dancer; she wore shorts and a tank top. The guys next to her were in thongs! Girl, go-go dancers aren't supposed to be wearing that much clothing.
Here are the downsides: The music is just too loud. I am 26 and not hard of hearing and I found it almost impossible to carry out a conversation anywhere in the club besides the bathroom. They need to turn that down a couple notches. I would like to be able to hear my friends who are standing 2 feet from me. Second, I had the longest wait for my bill when I tried to close my tab at 1:40am. I waited for over 20 minutes at the bar and the bartenders kept apologizing, but they have some sort of terrible credit card system and some woman who took forever to work said system. My advice is don't use a card there until this changes. It was kind of ridiculous.
