Had a blast on my Birthday at shooters!! Great people working there!! They make the best drinks to get the night going! The bull ride was the BEST! Got sooooo much laughs out of it! This is a happening place. If you want a clean and friendly bar/pool.....this is the place. What you say a clean bar!!! lol

I have been to Shooters a couple times and I really like it.The ambiance is chill. Love to see the people fall off the mechanical bull. Bartenders are super cool.

Shooters is a really fun establishment. As others have mentioned, waitresses will walk throughout the place and take drink orders; no need to fight for positioning at a crowded bar. The best part of my visit, however, was the music. I don't know if it was a jukebox or Pandora or Spotify or anything, but the entire night was filled with classic metal and rock bands. Megadeth, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, and tons more, which really helped set the tone of a hard-rockin', partying place.

I'm definitely looking forward to coming back whenever I get a chance.

Awesome place, great bartenders. Pool tables are in great shape. Will become a regular here.

Another great visit. The bartender and waitress were nice. The waitress even brought the drinks to the pool tables. Between playing darts, awesome rock music, and playing pool, my friends and i had a very fun night! I used the voucher deal they have on Yelp and it made my visit a lot cheaper.

The Pool tables are good and so is bar food . But Don't look for a conversation or niceties  from the afternoon bartender expect grunts and nods.

I had a great time! Happy hour pitchers, pool, darts, and a mechanical bull...this place could be more poppin if they had a DJ ! But overall, fun time!

The BEST place to go drinking.  Happy hour is 5-10 PM EVERY DAY!!  The pool is alright, and the bull is whatever, but go for the drinks.  Who would complain about a $3 Blue Moon?

A waiste of time and money. They people are rude, will overcharge, and dont care about there customers. They.bar tenders literally will ask, "hey my boss doesn't pay me enough can I have a bigger tip", and the guy behind the bar "Sev", I have seen him 2 different times get in peoples face and try fighting them. One of those places you just want to stay away from.

I love to play pool. Unfortunately I live in scv, so my choices are limited. This is the only pool hall in the valley.  That being said, I actually like coming here.  The owner, bartenders, and waitresses are all friendly. I have read reviews where they say fights break out nightly and be prepared for a knife fight...don't believe it. I have yet to see a fight here. The pool tables are adequate but definitely bring your own stick. Like most pool halls, the house sticks are bowed.  The pool does get pricey, and I haven't actually tried to use the yelp coupon...but I'd hate to actually print one out as someone mentioned.  The alcohol is also pricey, but comparable to most of the local restaurant/bars.  The happy hour deals aren't all that great, and unfortunately they got rid of the happy hour pitcher of beer deal which was great.  Be warned that if you are there to play pool, it gets real loud on nights the dj is there so its hard to converse.  They also have a few dart boards which is a nice distraction when there is a wait for a table, or if you just want a change of pace.  There are also tv's spread around the place so you can catch whatever game is on while there. I also have to admit that I'm not really sold on the mechanical bull.  It's not often being used and shooters lost four tables to make space for it.

All in all, shooters is a decent place to go in an area where you don't have a lot of choices. Hope this helps.

I wish this place would close so we could get  a decent pool hall in this town.  A mechanical bull?  This is a low class joint run by a low class management.  "Awesome Town" exemplified.

wouldn't take the yelp coupon. 1 free hour with 1 purchased hour, told me to print the coupon.. it clearly says on yelp on my iphone "show this screen to an owner or an employee to redeem your offer" What is this ? this is 2011 no one print coupons anymore, get with it, employees at shooters. If you are too cheap to offer the coupon don't bother putting it on yelp, Goons.

Shooters has a bar and pool, but no mechanical bull - yet at least.

Shooters is very dark and hosts an older crowd, along with a slight cast of seedy characters and girls who try too hard (really, its Sunday night and you bust our your fake eyelashes for a pool hall?).

The happy hour is pretty sweet, $3 beer, $5 cocktails from 5 pm to 10 pm.  Pool games are $11 per hour for couples, $13 an hour for parties of 3 or more. For 20 bucks, the boy and I had an interesting hour or so of fun.

One thing that stood out to me was how clean this place is. The women's restroom was immaculate, which is a rarity in the bar scene. Oh, and the frosted beer mugs! The mugs were nice and icy, which is really the best way to drink a beer.

I give Shooters kudos for the clean bathroom and frosty mugs, but a clean pooper and cold cups aren't enough of a draw to make me a regular. The cheap drinks, on the other hand, will probably bring me back.

Tip: Watch out for the brodozers as you walk up to the bar. They are ruthless and will hit a bitch!

This pool hall is dark. I mean, extremely dark. The lighting is very dim and the drinks, for an 18 and over establishment are pretty strong. Though I wouldn't quite say it's dive barish, more just really Awesome town centric.

Yeah, I guess that this place just has Awesome town written all over it. You have a crowd of people ranging in ages since it is an 18+ establishment partaking with people who look like time has forgotten them.. and/or they belong in a scene of Deadwood... which was ironically enough filmed close by here.

This place doesn't seem like a good pool house to take a date to.. Well, I guess that just varies on what kind of date you are on. I don't know how exactly, but I seemed to have used this establishment for either a second or third date.

It wasn't my idea. The date lived in Santa Clarita and for some reason that very liberal NPR listener hippie had a dark side that was more than willing to want to hang out shooting pool, drink gin and tonics and get to know each other wiping the floor with me at this billiards gamble.

The result. Well, it wasn't a bad date and it did have me explore awesome town some more. Can't say that relationship lasted more than six months though.

So hey, ringing endorsement to this shady establishment that looks to be the center of the Santa Clarita drug deals. No wait, I'm pretty sure that the really grimy bowling alley just a few blocks down has a vast majority of drug deal % as well.

Either way, you'll probably have a really strange date here or a end up in the parking lot knife fighting someone else who has lived on this earth for 18 years and feels the need to mingle in a dark roomed pit of despair.

But hey, I guess you gotta do something after Magic Mountain closes in Newhall besides go to Vasquez rock or count stars. Over all, a good option when you just can't get away from "Awesome" town.

The owner and his wife are friends of mine and my husband but that's not why I'm writing this. I'm writing this because I know how much dedication they have put into this place. Blood sweat and tears. They renovated the place and it has a whole new vibe to it. Everyone that goes in seems to be having a good time and it is a great place to shoot pool! The drinks and food are fresh and ice cold :-)

Me and my buddy showed up here last night too shoot some pool, over all wasn't too crowded for a Thursday night, in fact it wasn't crowded at all there were less than 10 people in building.

Beer was cheap we paid 6 bucks for a pitcher of Budweiser, top shelp liquor on the other hand was a bit pricey, we paid 10 bucks for 2 shots of Jager...that that was a ripoff ....

we stayed in this place for about 2 hours and we managed to play 3 games in between taking smoke breaks and feeding the juke box money to play. When it was all said and done we had too pay 17 bucks for the table, so it averaged out to be almost 6 bucks a game lol...that was another rip off ....

if you got time and money to kill and love to play go here ....

So my friends and  came to this place on Friday and it was really chill. It wasn't extremely packed which is always a plus. The food was awesome especially the pizza. The service was OK not great but not too bad. The drinks were reasonable and the atmosphere was decent. If your in the mood to play some pool I say you give this place a try.

Last night they had live music...I've never seen that before at this place.  I was hopeful.  Ska band was great...I would definitely enjoy seeing them again.  Band 2...songs without lyrics...guy with cookie monster voice...not good.  We left shortly after their set begain.

Shooters, bring back the ska band!

Ok people so u have the drift on this place-it is low rent, and the tables are kind of old. . . but hey haven't you heard we are in a recession? Its been a while since I have been inside Shooters, but you get what you pay for here. Low cost booze, cheap pool, and some easy on the wallet entertainment. It is probably better to import your own female company then go trolling for the local skank here (with apologies to Gina S.) but I never met a quality lady when I have been here. Anyway, unlike the Dodgers, this place delivers as long as your expectations are in check. I'd meet some buds there or maybe take a girl on the second date, for some pool, if I thought she was cool with the scene.

Pool hall in Valencia that is BURIED off of Lyons Ave. When I say buried, I mean it's totally hidden and obscured from the main drive. We were looking for it and found it by accident behind a gas station.
The place is really dark, but has like 24 pool tables. Never a wait for a game. Kind of young crowd on a Sunday night round 8:00pm. Tables are regulation; ie: bigger than bar tables. Sticks are wobbly, so make sure to bring your own. Decent music and sound system. Ice cole draft beer in a frosty mug (excellent). I've been in better places, and I've seen worse. For what it was and in vicinity of our hotel by Six Flags, it did the trick. There really didn't seem to be ANY other places toplay pool...

As much as I hate this place, I keep coming back. Its like that bad relationship with that guy who wears the stained wifebeaters and always has a Pabst Blue Ribbon can in one hand and the remote in the other at all times. You know you can do SOOO much better, but for some reason, you just keep coming back. Maybe its because no matter what day I show up, I know at least one person in the crowd (other than the bartenders or the owner). Its really like Cheers. There's the occasional random person, but overall, its the same crowd of loud brosephs and bar flys.

Its 18 and over. Bring your ID because they card at the door. They also card at the bar. The drinks are reasonably priced. The service is friendly. The bouncers are social. I've been there on a few nights when there's been fights in the parking lot. Its usually because someone's drunk and talking smack to someone else. You know how boys get when they get all liquored up. Boys will be boys. (and sometimes girls) I've seen maybe 5 fights in 6 years. Not a bad track record, I'd say for a bar of this size.

There are over 20 pool tables. (not too shabby. if you have your own stick, bring it. theirs tend to suck) They have tons of flat screens, a juke box, and now they even serve food! The chicken strips, onion rings and pizza are pretty good. Make sure that if you are into ordering mixed drinks, you get yourself a Gas Chamber. Its a really strong drink, but its fun to watch them make it. (They light it on fire) I think its their specialty. I've never seen it made anywhere else but here.

Oh. One last tip. Be nice to the owner, Albert, or he'll kick you out.

The balls literally suck here. Judging by their condition, they look like they've been used as marbles played by the Green Giant and Paul Bunyan. There's nicks and chips on almost every ball that really screws up the game. Not to forget their cue sticks are bent more than John Bobbit's dick and the unevenness of the tables will make you think the Earth is spinning off it's polar axis. It's not worth playing here because it seriously messes up your game. Lastly, if you don't order any drinks or food while playing, the waitress will come around every 10 minutes bugging you to get something. It's annoying and ever so relentless...

I've personally never witnessed a fight break out here, but this looks like a place where the brosephs, oozing with testosterone, are ready for a rumble.

This is a pool hall, first and foremost. I haven't been here since my reckless days of youth, but I do remember them having a huge room with about 10 tables, and another room with about 2-4 tables. Not sure if that's the exact count, but let's just go with "a lot" of pool tables.

It's an 18-and-over place, so if that comes off pretty grating, then this is not the place for you.  As it turns out, it hasn't been the place for me for some years now. I probably won't ever go back again, but you never know. It's the best place to lock down a pool table in Santa Clarita.

Even though it's an 18-and-over joint, it does feature a bar on the opposite side of the pool tables. The bar is situated alongside a weak dance floor, which is not where you want to be, unless you like bumpin' and grindin' up against 18 year olds waiting to be in R. Kelly's next video. (You decide which video I'm talking about.)

This is a great place for the 18-23 year-old crowd.  Any older than that, stay away.  I can't find anything appealing, other than the abundance of pool tables.

EDIT: If you could smell the energy of places, this place would stink. This would've been  a 1-star review, but if you really like to play pool and want to keep playing all night, then I suppose this place may come in handy.
