Shooty's Bar

Nice little dive bar when its nearly empty at 930pm. And the CHEAP DRINKS is a serious plus. I would almost drive back just to get those prices alone. Cover is usually free unless theres a special band/guest performing as its the only real dance hall in the area. Other than that, its not hard to miss when driving by. Kepp an eye out when passing through, great place to grab a beer.  Pretty positive you can bring your own liquor as well.

A group of friends of mine were in town for the night and were looking for a place to go.  We looked and looked until we finally decided we weren't going to do any better than this sketchy looking place called Stabby's, er, Shooty's Bar.  We walked over from our motel, and we were greeted at the front door by a bouncer demanding cover in some ridiculous amount.  Like $12.  NOT kidding.  Thinking this has to be the best bar I've EVER been to, I pay it (what else could I do?) and go in.

We approach the bar (cash only, beer only) and order a round of delicious imported beer.  (In case you couldn't tell, that part wasn't sarcastic.  My Negra Modelo was very delicious) They had a couple pool tables, one of which was available, so we play a game or two.  It was charming really.  The Lady of the Night was decently attractive, but I think she got picked up by a police officer.  Then a gang of guys told us that maybe we belonged somewhere else and told us to leave.  It was a real friendly type place, you know.  So we stayed just enough longer for spite and then left before we were actually in any sort of danger.  Real booze was waiting for us back at the hotel room :)
