We saw Chicago last night and the location, ease of entrance and seating arrangement were GREAT. It was also very convenient getting a drink at the bar.

My only complaint would be why they would sell the tickets that we ended up with. We were on the side in the upper level and we could not see the entire band at once.

From now on I will never attend a concert here unless I am facing the stage. The ampitheatre seating and size of the venue makes me want to come back for more. It is also a hop, skip and a jump from our humble abode.

    We will return.

My husband and I just saw Natalie Cole at "The Show" last night and the reviews we read previous were absolutely true, not a bad seat in the house.  The seats are very comfortable, sound was great.  I would absolutely return again to see another performance. As a side note, Natalie was wonderful and they seem to attract strong talent! :)

Went to see Heart. Can't comment on the price as it was a date. The accoustics were great, the seats comfortable and the foot pass was ample. PArking was a little bit of a drag and sort of difficult to find amid the sprawl of the casino, but the show was great and the crowd was permitted to do what aging hippies and stoners to--rock it out and behave like  college students after finals.

    Great venue!!
Been here twice in the past month to see Joel McHale and Lisa Lampanelli do comedy.

This is a great place to see a comedy show.
Not a bad seat in the house!

Great drink prices for a concert/show venue!
    $5.00 rum and coke
    $3.00 diet coke
Plus a bar on every level!
Even the top balcony level has a bar!

Every seat is good. Don't be scared of the cheap seats!

Venue & sound is wonderful. Only problem is Management won't let bands play much more than an hour so you will get back to gambling. When you are paying $75 to $95 for a ticket that's bad. Saw Train the other night. Concert length 1hour 10 minutes. Saw Jackson Browne & he really complained about the time restriction. Come on man!!!  WOW....they let Ian Anderson play for almost 2 hours. Maybe they figured it out..!!!  I guess we'll see....

My aunt and I went to the Miranda Lambert concert here last Sunday night.

Pros- It's new and beautiful. Comfy seats and I suspect that there isn't a bad seat in the place (unless maybe if you are on the very sides). Our seats were in the balcony, row B, dead center and they were perfect. Great sound quality. The people who worked there were very helpful and nice. I was surprised that there wasn't a security check, we breezed right in. This is a gorgeous venue.

Cons- It's a bit pricey. The concert ran short, maybe an 1 1/2 hours, no opener and no encore. I suspect this has to do with it being in a casino, wanting to get people out of the show and back to gambling. I have been to many concerts, including several of Miranda's shows and none of them have been so short. Also, no camera's allowed in the theater, although this didn't seem to be enforced. I could not find the merch table either.

I thought this venue was beautiful and I would travel from Los Angeles to see a concert, if it was a performer that I was very excited about.

Beautiful venue.  No security during a rock show, and the audience became a bit of a free for all.  Don't worry what seats you have, you can bumrush the stage!

Bar-none, absolutely the best place in the desert to see a concert. Not a bad seat in the house even the upper balcony. Plenty of stations to get a drink. Clean bathrooms, also easy access. Acoustics beat most other venues I've been to in bigger cities.

I saw REO Speedwagon here in July and I was impressed. The Show is pretty new(I think 2-3 years) and was very nice inside. It was the perfect size, and even though we got seats in thesecond cheapest section, there really was not a bad seat in the house! The bathrooms, concessions and souvenirs were all easily accessed by going down the stairs behind the audience almost like a stadium setup. It was very convenient.

I also loved how well-designed the parking lot was- easy to find the self-park lots.Quick and easy to leave after the show- not stuck in line in the parking lot, trying to get out. Lots of exits and easy access back on to the 10.

This is a perfect venue because they are able to relatively big acts, but very accessible for patrons.

Just saw Sheryl Crow.  The show itself was too long, too loud, and the lighting was was horrible.  There were 5 bright lights that shined at the audience and changed colors.  I'm not sure what effect they were trying to create...except blindness.  I have been to many concerts...the bass and the percussion overpowered Sheryl.  I know performers bring their own sound and lighting crews....so I really can't blame The Show.

I like Sheryl Crow as a recording artist... But she isn't much of a performer....sorry to say.  Her last song was her best....

I am not sure why everyone is raving about the venue....it ain't  nothing special.  It is small compared to other venues here.... That's it.  No decor, everything is just basic black.  The seats were fine....my ass didn't go to sleep, which is good. I walked throught the theatre... And as far as being acoustically perfect... I thought it was inferior to other theatres.  All of the upper levels, the balcony, especially, seemed too steep, with very narrow aisles.  If you have vertigo, like I have, try the loge or orchestra sections.  They are expensive....but, it might save an embarrassing throw up on the party in front of you.

Maybe, I'm a little spoiled.... seen too many shows in LV and LA that were in far superior faculities.

Just saw my second concert at The Show (Huey Lewis), and I am impressed with the place.  The seats are nicely spaced (a bit of arm room), the acoustics are perfect for music, and there really isn't a bad seat.  Every seat has a great view of the stage.

It's a intimate venue built just off of the casino floor.  Of course, wading through slot machines makes for a bit of extra entertainment...

This venue rocks!  The seats are roomy and comfortable, the sound is outstanding and everyone can see the stage.  I recommend sitting in the loge level.  I've seen comedy acts, rock bands and attended a variety fund raiser here.  All were spectacular.  I'm now a venue snob and hesitate to go anywhere else in the valley for concerts or comedy because of the inferior offerings.

Almost nothing was missed creating a wonderful casino show place at this location.  Everything is laid out in a logical and easy to use way; bars, rest rooms.  It really is a "crowning jewel" to the Agua Caliente experience.
We were present for the "Celtic Woman" performance which was wonderful; excellent voices, instruments, choreography and arrangements of the best of musical ballads emanating from the Emerald Isle.
While we will not hesitate to return for more shows, this venue lacks a bit on acoustics for the type of music we were hearing.  My personal professional background sometimes haunts my ability to totally enjoy a performance with a "hot" acoustical enviroment.  Not to wonder with so little carpeting or other fabric sound dampening.  In short, it is NOT the McCallum...any accomplished musician would have to admit.
Purchasing tickets is relatively eash, but they charge a fee like most venues.  The problem is that you have to wait in line at Will Call on the night of the performance!  Mailing them to you is NOT an option....so what is the fee for?

The new music venue at the Agua Caliente Resort in Rancho Mirage--The Show--is magnificent.   Seating capacity is only 2,000 people with no seat more than 125 feet from the stage.   There is not a bad seat in the house.   The actual seats are large, nicely upholstered , padded and quite comfortable.   The sound is excellent as is the lighting.     I just saw Diana Krall there and felt like I was in a small jazz club.   Valet parking in front of the hotel is free if attending a performance at The Show.  Only a short wait time for the car after the performance.   I intend to be a regular at The Show.
