  After being closed for a couple of years, a Mexican food place had opened there and we enjoyed it in the fall of 2011. However, on a trip there two weeks ago, we found that it too has closed.

  Any place where you see dolphins of the back deck cannot be bad!  Prices are inexpensive and the food is solid.  Order up front, pick up your food and enjoy

  Great view of the waterway - barges, dolphins, pelicans - friendly service, comfortable outdoor (or indoor) seating, and pretty good food.  Stick with the locally caught shrimp dishes and don't miss the Sinful Pecan Ball for dessert.
  
  If you like things battered and fried, you'll be especially happy with the menu.
  
  And, if you are out this way because you like to fish, we noticed that they will prepare one that you caught for you - pretty cool!
  
  The vegetables were a little lame, but what do you expect way out on the coast?
  
  And easy to forgive when you spot another dolphin jumping!
