  I am a picky New Yorker, but I rate Silver Cup as mediocre.  Service is ok, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.  Everything is apparently microwaved rather than grilled or baked or otherwise cooked.  
  
  If you like good food at reasonable prices at a nice sit-down place, check out Gabby's Mexican Restaurant in the downtown.

  I'm in town a few times per summer working at Shadowland, and I eat here almost every trip -- partially because there's not many places to sit down and eat in Ellenville that are as clean and pleasant and inexpensive.
  
  Their corned beef hash is very good.
  
  Service has always been excellent.

  Have eaten here twice, food seems fresh, service is good, we have tried the very basic items like burgers, fries and sandwiches, but all were excellent.

  A reasonable diner for the area.  They do offer delivery to the local summer communities.  Not a bad bet if you are in the area.
