  I only tried the hotel, not the restaurant. The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are on the bigger side. I like being able to pull up to my room with my truck. I will stay here again. Of the places I stayed at in Leadville this is the best one. I do not recommend the place across the street (Columbine Inn) at all. It is not as clean and there were other issues as well, including a horrible breakfast.
  
  Apparently Yelp thinks this is a restaurant only, which is unfortunate. The price range does not allow to adjust for a hotel price, therefore I chose two $ signs for a mid price range of a hotel.

  What a great deal.. you can think of this place like a Hampton Inn really. No frills basic rooms. Free breakfast.
  
  We stay here sometimes on ski weekends when we dont want to drive back to denver. Its in Leadville so we can hit some of the fun and cheap dive bars there too. Also a couple solid places to eat in town.
  
  The management is super nice and theres almost always last min rooms open so we usually dont make reservations. Crazy cheap when you split it with a few people.

  So yeah...it's not the best place to stay by any means but if you're just in the area and need a cheap place to stay..this is a good choice.  Don't expect anything too great but they do have a free breakfast.  The staff person was nice.
  
  The rooms did have that hotel smell, which isn't too uncommon.  It was close to the bars downtown which was nice.  You can see the mountains from almost any room but it will be an obstructed view.  
  
  Basically, a nice and cheap place.  If you got money, go elsewhere though.  The closest hotsprings is 90 mins away so go elsewhere if you're into that.  Also, NOT SURE why it's a restaurant and lounge...no such thing exist here.

  i had read some reviews on tripadvisor that had me a little worried.  Not a thing to worry about.  We were climbing mt elbert and was worried about what i had read about the bed comfort and it was obvious to me that a competitor must have written those reviews cause beds were plenty comfortable and i had a great night sleep before our climb.  If we go back for any other hikes/climbs around leadville will definately stay here again.  There is no air conditioner but we were here on august 5th and when we got in car to leave at 5 am for elbert it was 35 degrees.  It would probably be a silly waste of money to have an air conditioner at over 10000 feet since its not ever hot and theres no humidity to speak of.
