Silver Streak Inn

We came here off of the interstate on our way south and found it homey and cute. The food was good but the service could've been better. I had the rueben which was good and my mother had the chicken salad which was a little dry. We liked the homemade chips and coleslaw. Overall, it was a good place to stop and eat if you aren't in for a gourmet experience. A nice little dive.

Interesting place.  Very small town.  Nice folks.  Food was good, better than one might expect based on the decor.

Quite a ways off the highway but the food & service were worth it!  Aunt Myrtle's chicken salad & homemade chips w/dip were excellent!
