Simple Simon's Pizza

When it was open it was pretty good for a local greasy spoon. Sadly due to the health of the owners Simple Simons was closed early in the summer of 2013. It is currently for sale, my understanding is recipes and all... so if your interested in a restaurant located on historic route 66 and would like to come to Baxter Springs there is a deal to be had.

Why is there even a KFC in this town? Simple Simons chicken is fantastic, I usually go every Friday for the chicken buffet. If you find your self driving through Baxter and are craving some good home cookin, this is the place to go. The service here is really friendly, the salad bar is fresh and the pizza is questionable. I do suggest saving room for some of their bread and butter pudding.

Really like their fried chicken.
