I, too, was excited to finally have a live band bar back in Hays ... reminiscing of the days of Judge McGreevie's, Pink Cadillac, and DJs. Â The few times that I've gone to Singers, the bands are known for their music; however, there is only one volume for every band ... LOUD ... to the point that we've only stayed an hour or so then leave. Â Not sure the issue ... acoustics, inexperienced sound folks .... not sure, but we will probably not frequent it again until we've heard that they've changed their sound guy. Â Bar prices are high, and sometimes the admissions prices ... but that's expected in a live band atmosphere, but we can't handle the "one-size fits all" sound for all genres of music -- LOUD!
