SIR Pizza of Troy Inc

The band was doing a gig in the area, but Troy NC appeared to be a dead town... no foot traffic anywhere to speak of and the businesses seemed to have rolled up their sidewalks before we got into town at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon.  Main street was absolutely dead, so we looked up the "Nearby" function on Yelp for ANYTHING that might be open and found Sir Pizza.

With the sound check done and the stage set up, we set out to find dinner.

Service would be better if it came with a smile instead of a deer in the headlights kind of look.  Our party of eleven (band members and family), arrived about 5:45pm on a Saturday afternoon looking to get a quick meal before going on stage at 7.

The pizza's were okay, nothing special, and the spaghetti dinners fared about the same.  Fox News was on the Tele, and the place was quiet... because there was nobody there... for real, I could actually hear the television.  We must've scared off the patrons who were there ahead of us because they up and left almost as soon as we arrived, and only one other small group came in behind us during the hour we were there.

It's not a bad place, but I'm wondering how many pizza places can a dead town support?  What time DO they roll up the sidewalks in Troy?

Awesome service. Love the salads and the spaghetti plus the apple pizza is delicious.
