Skyway Bar & Grill

Skyway Bar & Grill is one of my favorite places to eat. They have excellent food, often from local farms, an excellent selection of beer, also from local producers, and their staff is the best. During the colder months, there's always a roaring fire, and during the warmer months, a huge outside area. If you are in the area, stop in. Once you do, you will not be able to stop going back.

We ate at this place on our road trip to through the northwest. We had just come from Mt. Hood, and we were hungry!

We saw the big sign that says BBQ, and decided to try out the place. It had indoor and outdoor seating. Interesting decorations. They do have a stage for live music, and karaoke. We got there before the dinner rush. We ordered BBQ ribs, macaroni and cheese, and steak. The sauces they had for the BBQ was delicious. Apparently, the owner makes different ones each day, so you may not have the same one if you come back. Either way it was delicious!!!

As we waited for our food, they had different games you can play that you can bring to your table. Having kids with us, this was a plus.

After we ate dinner, we got dessert. My god they had the best peach cobbler! It was to die for!

The staff was very friendly, and service was great!

I agree with the other reviews that the pulled pork was pretty good. The Mac and Cheese was not bad either. The salmon was decent as well, but they forgot to mention it didn't come with any sides, same with all the meat dishes. When I ordered steamed veggies on the side, it took them 10+ mins to return with just string beans with salt and butter. This brings me to my main complaint: the service was very slow (we were seated inside; most of the action seemed to take place on the patio with live music).  Still, with just a few customer inside and right next to the bar, even the beverage service was way too slow. It took almost 30 mins to get the food. Can't say I'm a fan...
