    OMG what.
Was here for NERVO over memorial day.
The crowd outside was insane. Good thing we had table reservations and got in no problem.
Very very very very crowded once inside. Then again - may have been because it was Memorial Day weekend.
I generally avoid going to places like this in the Hamptons. It's full of drunk douchebags just in the hamptons for a week or so to get wasted, accompanied by starving, coke head models. Saw so many coked-out girls here the couple of times I've been. Real casual stuff. Not.

I will say tho, the music was amazing, before NERVO, NERVO and anything in between. And the certainly get some good talent going for the summer (which is where I think SL East beats Southpointe). And since I'm in Amagansett, it's much closer than making the trek all the way out to Southampton. And the drinks were acceptable prices for the venue.

All in all, a solid club addition to the Hamptons. But if you're like me, and come out to relax to get away from the city crowd, then I would head elsewhere instead.

Horrible - the place smells like sewage and farts - the bathrooms are at the front door so you have to battle the bathroom line and bathroom bouncers just to get to the hostess and bar.  The atmosphere is average hamptons club scene - nothing sets it apart but if you want a place close by to party its OK for 1 night.  The door was no problem - probably because its not a hotspot anymore.   I give it 1 Star but lets face it -  most people going here do not care about Yelp ratings or quality food - I predict this is the last season for SL East.

Seems really, REALLY hit or miss (only because i've heard good things from last summer, but yet to experience this summer)...but I'm hoping that's because the summer is still early, as I didn't ever make it to SL last summer.

Friday nights have seemed to be vacant and/or latin night (and still vacant), then saturdays have consisted of girls from delaware, etc that i can't imagine getting into any manhattan clubs...but as we're down the street, and too lazy to actually cab too far away, i certainly hope it improves...maybe once it's july and summer has truly kicked off?

I don't know why it bothers me, but how could someone give a place a bad review and a 1 star rating, when he/she can't even get in?

The door policy of SL East is not any different from that of most places in Meatpacking District (Manhattan), including their own SL. One of the reviews is completely unreliable, due to the statement "They act as if they are a club in manhattan when they could never compete" - it is owned by the same group that owns Tanjune, SL, Abe & Arthur's and other highly rated places in Manhattan, which have been in existance for a while, so management must be doing a decent job.

Not everyone will get in, but that's what makes this place more exclusive. Unless you are ready to pay for the bottle service, unfortunately you should be ready to move to another club/lounge, if the host decides so. My opinion doesn't count for much, but I believe, since this is a private venue, they can do whatever they want (would you expect to get into a house party just because you showed up at the door?)

Worst experience ever! After waiting 2 hours, couldnt get in! Host (Bay) was actually walking around asking people how much they were spending that night! If you were under age you can get in no problem. Employees were extremely rude! They act as if they are a club in manhattan when they could never compete! There is definately a reason why they are continuously changing ownership! Learn how to run a business morons!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.  Perhaps I am a little bitter after waiting 2 hours and still couldn't get in.  Went without a reservations on a Saturday night (guess that was the big mistake) because after trying to contact the club no one ever got back to me.  Guess you have to know someoene.  Although the only reservation you can make is for a $1,500 min table bottle service.  I like my drinks served to me in a glass and to mix it up so bottle not for me.  Club was suppose to open at 11pm and they came out to tell us they were only taking tables at the point.  However not the case most people with tables (not really too many)  still eneded up waiting an hour and a half and still after we left there were still the same people waiting to get in for tables.  Bottle hostess rudest person ever including to the people that had paid for tables completely uncalled for when your spending that kind of money.  Also on seemed to let in his friends so if you don't know him your probably not making it in.  Maybe it was our age because the people he seemed to let in were 21 or under and kind of happy I didn't make it in because partying with minors is not really my scene.

However I do highly recommend the Georgica scene.  Great music, great crowd and amazing manager.  We had went for dinner the night they were having a Hamptons Magazine party and he was amazing gracious.  Gave us a round of Patron shots and always made sure personally we were having a good time and taken care of.  Now that's what I call service!  Thanks to Sal at Georgica for an amazing night!

If you're not up for going all the way to Southampton but still want to go to a club SL is the perfect spot.  The music is pretty good here.  The crowd is pretty decent.  I love the outdoor area, although everyplace out east basically has outdoor area.  It's a nice area to sit  and rest your poor feet from being stuck in CL lady peeps all night, and talk or smoke.  Definitely a solid option for breaking up the monotony of all those house parties and charity events.
