I Don't comprehend the good reviews here unless reviewers are used to garbage pizza and have developed an affinity for it.
Went in on what must have been one of the aforementioned karaoke nights. Â The noise (screeching of drunken women warbling) was unbearable. Â Consequently instead of eating in, we placed a to go order.
After 30 or so mind-bending minutes of free 'entertainment', the order came out and we (thankfully) made our way outside with our pizza.
The crust was poor. Â No way it is homemade. Â The sauce was poor. Â If homemade, someone needs to develop a new recipe. Â Remaining toppings OK, I guess; but once one builds a pizza on bad bread and adds a canned (or plastic bagged) sauce it doesn't really matter what goes on afterword. It is like building a car on a rusted out frame and expecting it to be a performance vehicle.
All in all, I would have never written a negative review based on the noise (or music) or for any reason other than the food was poor. Â For a great pizza I could put up with opera pumped at full volume and a splitting headache. Â I love great pizza and will put up with just about anything to have it. Â
Unfortunately, Smoky's pizza is as bad as those performing karaoke that night.
Fun, Fun, Fun!
All ages Karaoke wed. (7pm-11pm) and fri. nights (8pm-midnight). The DJ(s) are great!
The food and drinks are good, staff is friendly and the manager or owner? is personal with guest, and passes out candy to the kids.
New friday night spot out with my girl's...all ages girl's!
