They were short-handed when I took my wife there, but we still received good service. Â The food was excellent - I had the porterhouse steak, she had a club wrap, and both were just fantastic! Â For my drink, I decided to try a "dark & stormy" which is a mix of black rum, ginger beer, and lime juice... and while it's on the pricey side, I would highly recommend it! Â Two thumbs up here!
Review Source:I really liked this place! Â I had the blackened snapper wrap which was great, definitely spicy, and the fries were tits! Â But I should warn you, they were salty for me, and since my favorite food is salt, that's telling you a lot.
JR C. really loved the over the top bloody mary but I have to say, the house was AWESOME! Â Good prices, friendly service, bathrooms are gnarly. Â Actually the whole place could use a bucket of Pine Sol but I really don't think they are catering to the Mr. Clean crowd.
I stopped here while checking out Folly Beach during Hurricane Sandy, and although I didn't stick around for a long time, I liked this place. Â I ordered a couple beers, and the bartender was quite attentive. Â I really wish I'd have seen him make his bloody mary before I ordered, though. Â He uses some bottled mix, plus a bit of stout beer, then garnishes with a banana pepper, olive, shrimp, and a big piece of celery, then puts Old Bay seasoning around the rim. Â Just my style. Â He poured a bit from a shaker for me, and it was delicious! Â
They offer both quesodillas and nachos in 'preconfigured' fashion or 'build-your-own' stylee. Â I went with the former, which starts as a $6 cheese quesodilla, to which you add items, a la carte. Â I ordered blackened shrimp, grilled onions, cilantro, and jalapeno peppers. Â The shrimp was delicious and cooked just right, and there was a perfect amount of peppers.
Even though we're in Mount Pleasant, I'll be coming here for football games and bloodies!
