This is the second year we have brought in our catch for them to cook. Â It's a little expensive but what is it worth not to have to clean up the kitchen.
My old college buds and I (the ten of us) enjoyed eating family style out of cardboard soda cases. Â They prepared our fish three different ways: Â fried, grilled, and cajun grilled. Â For sides, they had onion rings, fries, and hush puppies. Â We were all very please with the experience.
We heard from the locals last year that this is the place to have your catch prepared and I would have to agree.
Typical Matagorda experience and I'm sure we will be back next year.
We rented a beach house right next to Snappers and decided to give it a shot for dinner.  It was bad, really bad.  The Shrimp were over cooked and they were pretty  for the place.
They did have a live band which was really good but I wouldn't go back. Â Even the old lady who seems to be running the place wasn't that friendly.
I am not sure about the other 2 restaurants that we did see but they would have to be better than Snappers.
