Snappers Bar & Grill

This is the second year we have brought in our catch for them to cook.  It's a little expensive but what is it worth not to have to clean up the kitchen.

My old college buds and I (the ten of us) enjoyed eating family style out of cardboard soda cases.  They prepared our fish three different ways:  fried, grilled, and cajun grilled.  For sides, they had onion rings, fries, and hush puppies.  We were all very please with the experience.

We heard from the locals last year that this is the place to have your catch prepared and I would have to agree.

Typical Matagorda experience and I'm sure we will be back next year.

Older waitress with an attitude....fried shrimp was par. Atmosphere is white trash dive, but it's on the coast so what do you expect. Will NEVER go back.

We rented a beach house right next to Snappers and decided to give it a shot for dinner.  It was bad, really bad.  The Shrimp were over cooked and they were pretty  for the place.

They did have a live band which was really good but I wouldn't go back.  Even the old lady who seems to be running the place wasn't that friendly.

I am not sure about the other 2 restaurants that we did see but they would have to be better than Snappers.
