Our very first visit here, we will be back.  I had the  sweet potato-ginger ravioli with egg nog sauce and that was very good.  My wife had a 1/2 rack of ribs and she literally pulled the bone out of the meat.  She indicated they were the best restaurant ribs she had ever had. My step-daughter had the fish fry, also very good.  Our son a cheese pizza which he enjoyed.  They offered an excellent beer selection in a cozy Wisconsin atmosphere.  Our waitress had an off night, but she was still very nice and it definitely wasn't so bad that we aren't anxious to go back.  For the four of us our bill was in the $80.00 range without tip.  We live a good 45 minutes away and will make the drive to go back out to get our frequent visitor card punched.

As usual, my review is for the fish fry. It was very good! Fish wasn't overly battered or greasy, and I normally have potato pancakes when  available, but the had mashed potatoes with asiago cheese. I had to try that! Also delicious. Came with the usual store bought bread, and decent cole slaw. Service was also good. My only gripe was the chicken wing appetizer. The "hot" variety of wings was lacking in both pepper and temperature heat. Obviously, they make them ahead of time, as one of them was refrigerator cold. And who ever rated them "hot" probably thinks Flamin' Hot Cheetos are too hot.

I'd go back, but avoid the wings.

Great food, great staff, and lax atmosphere.  The beer selection is awesome.  I also really like the monthly Wine and Beer tastings.

I had dinner at Sneesby's tonight with my mom and we both really enjoyed our meal.    I had driven by the restaurant and knew nothing about it, so I checked out the menu online and was pleasantly surprised to see the delicious-sounding menu items.  I had the walleye, found a few bones but it's a bonier fish so no surprises, and the Parmesan potato wedges were very good.     My mom had mostaccioli (sorry if that's spelled wrong) with sausage and it was also good, a nice amount of sauce and tasted very fresh.  The restaurant makes their own bread and desserts, which is nice to hear--the bread was crusty and hot, and we split a decadent and rich gluten-free chocolate-nut torte that, according to our server Melissa, is one of several gluten-free things the restaurant serves.  My baked French onion soup was flavorful and not greasy (thank you for that!) and we both had house salads.  Iced tea comes in its own mini carafe.  All in all it was a nice meal, and we will be back to try their specials in the future...like prime rib!

Overall the service was good. Food a little pricey for a bar setting. Steak sandwiches very tender. Pork chop sandwiches overdone, dry. Great beer selection. 6.99 burgers were only 1/4 pound at most and worth about $2.50.

Sneesby's or DeMarinis -- it doesn't matter what name -- it has great food, a laid-back atmosphere and some really good martinis.   I've been here a couple of times with friends and have never been disappointed.  The steaks are tender; the kind of tender that barely needs a knife.  I like that they bring a dish of raw veggies to get you prepped for the meal, which ends up being far more than you can eat.

And the martinis. . . .did I mention those are really good?

This is  great place to relax and have a decent meal and drinks after work or when you need to get away from the house.
