Great place to come, especially late night, when everything else is freaking closed at 8pm! This place is open daily until 2:30 a.m.
We were quickly greeted by Peggy as if we were regulars and not first timers. She was sweet, quick with our drinks and amused by our menu dilema. I'd read the pizza was good but which one to order was up in the air. We settled (and by settled I mean by boy relented) on the Margherita - alfredo sauce, chicken, artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, onions...yeah that was super tasty. They don't skimp on anything on these pies!
It was fairly hopping for a Sunday night and Peggy did her best to keep up with anyone with the cheeriest attitude I could ever have imagined!
I guess there's a deck & sun patio that we didn't check out since it was nighttime but I know we'll be back in town, and we'll definitely be back here.
I was visiting a friend in Lincoln City, and Snug Harbor Bar & Grill is within walking distance. Â You are warmly welcomed the moment you walk in. Â This is like Cheers, where everybody knows your name kind of place! Â I was there on a Thursday night, so it was mostly locals that were there. Â The place wasn't hopping, but for the middle of the night during the winter, there was a pretty good turnout. Â White Russians that I ordered were yummy! Â The bartenders that work here are about the friendliest bartenders I've met anywhere! Â Karaoke was the entertainment, I actually got up and did 2 songs!
Review Source:We were about to go to Mo's for a second time, but we decided against it since there were a ton of families streaming into Mo's. Â So we ended up at Snug Harbor, a cozy bar & grill with possibly the best clam chowder I've ever had (and I've lived in Boston). Â The burgers were delicious as well, and the pizza, though we didn't order it, looked and smelled amazing. Â And, when I asked for ranch for my fries, they had it ON THE TABLE, as like, a condiment sitting with the mustard and ketchup. Â Awesomeness.
Peggy the bartender was super friendly, and it was surprisingly lively with locals, other travelers, and even a band, on a cold Sunday night. Â Plus, how can you not love the cozy name, Snug Harbor?
