I really wanted to love this place. Â It's a local businesses (not a chain), the staff is super friendly, Â the atmosphere is awesome, they have a bunch of local beers to choose from, and there's even live music at times. Â This place has a ton of potential, it really does... Â but in the end, the food was just average. Â maybe my expectations were too high? Â But I really think the owners could have a real gem on their hands if they would just do a few more things right. Â First, the hours are bizarre... They're only open Mon-Sat, from 7-9. Â What kind of place has live music and serves beer closes at 9pm on a Friday/Saturday? Â and why would a place that seems ideal for Sunday morning coffee/afternoon lunch be closed on Sunday?? Â Next, they have a nice local beer selection, but nothing on tap. Â They really need to consider installing at least one keg. Â The 'bar' area doesn't feel like much of a 'bar' without a handle of Great Lakes or something. Â Last, all of the chicken sandwiches, wraps, and salads are made with lunch meat chicken rather than chunks of chicken breast. Â Maybe that isn't a big deal to some people, but I was really surprised (and disappointed) when I realized this. Â I dont know, maybe I'm being too picky... I'm gonna check this place out again and hopefully my new set of expectations will result in a more enjoyable experience. Â We'll see...
Review Source:If I lived in Wadsworth, I feel like Sonnets would become my local hangout. Â It has a great atmosphere with lots of space to sit and converse. Â
The staff is great! Â On my first visit, I talked with the barista for quite a while.
They also have some great coffee including special blends. Â I've had a S'mores blend, which sounds strange but was absolutely fantastic. Â Sonnets also serve some pretty fantastic salads as well.
I would much rather visit Sonnets than a Starbucks any day!
