South Pointe

In a nutshell, it's the Hamptons hot spot for beautiful people.

Not a fan of the gravel parking lot (MY HEELS!!!) or the planks on the deck. In fact, it's nothing special in terms of decor. But the DJs are usually on point.

My advice: get a table. Pop bottles. Duh.

After a while all clubs in high end vacation areas start to look the same but this place is well managed at least. not too crowded, nice layout.

It seems like I keep finding myself at places where I know exactly what to expect.  Madness at the door to get in, a crazy expensive table and way too many dudes on the dancefloor.  But like usual, I know how to have a great time even when given these circumstances.  The DJ wasnt bad and was spinning House the whole night.

South Pointe seems to be the Southamptons "hot spot" where beautiful people go to be seen.  Or at least thats what the girls I went with seemed to think and they are all up on the club scene.  Its pretty tough to get in here unless you are buying a table and since there were 20 of us, we were buying lots of bottles.  The bill wasn't too bad considering.  We ended up going over memorial day weekend.

The funniest part of the night was when we were going home and we took one van.  Yea, imagine 20 people crammed on each others laps.  Im just happy we were renting a house less than 5 miles away.

Maybe this is a 4 star place since there is nothing around but overall, there isn't really anything too special about this place that makes me justify more than 2 stars.
