My dad and I went here to watch college football this past weekend after a recommendation from my uncle. The decor is fun, and beer is COLD. It was great to get a tall and still have it be cold when I was getting to the bottom of it. The glasses for the tall beers are shaped liked footballs which was fun. We only had appetizers, and they were good. Portions for the apps are fairly large so make sure to do a half order if there are only two of you. The server made that recommendation, and we were glad we only did a half order. The kitchen was fast so for people who were there just to eat, most of them were in and out in about 30 minutes.
Their draft beer selection is mostly throw-back so if you're looking to try the beer your grandpa used to drink, they probably have it. The menu isn't huge, but there is a decent selection including build-your-own burgers.
Not the best place to watch a game, but it worked. They were accommodating to us and turned the TVs to the channel/game we requested. The TVs need to be bigger, and better placed. Â There are a lot of them, but they're so high up on the wall that you pretty much have to look straight up to see them which is uncomfortable. That's the only complaint I had. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. I would go back.
Theme and Decor is cool (ie Retro Sports). Lots of cool memorabilia. Interesting assortment of old 70's/80's popular beers (ie Hamms, Schlitz, etc). Nothing exciting on the menu....and portions are small and over priced for hot dogs, burgers and such. Not surprised, they are owned in the family of restaurants as Bracco's and Spezia. They nickle and dime you on the add-ons, such as lettuce/tomatoes for burgers...fries are additional for several items. Desserts are just store bought/packaged ice-cream and is also overpriced. Â I'll stick to T.C. Referee's or Tinner's.
