Well it may seem a little run-down on the surface, but I like this place based on my lunch there today. Â First off, it's almost the only place in town that has pinball, and I track these things (get the Simpson's table fixed please). Â It also has an ample amount of video games, so that's good too. Â Service today was pretty good. Â We were seated quickly, and during Indian Market, that's extremely hard to do. Â Every other restaurant or bar usually has at least an hour wait for lunch especially in the downtown area.
The food was pretty good. Â I had a massive hot dog that was too big, so I took some of it home for dinner. Â Three of us had the fish and chips with no complaints, and the last person in our party had chicken tenders and she liked them. Â I'd eat here again for lunch. Â Oh yea, all the entrees came with a small dinner salad that was very tasty.
As per the usual, I did ding Stats a star for not having free wireless...
Nothing special but it's not the hellhole that Evita says it is. The place is in it's infancy, I would give it another chance before trashing it. It has potential to be a fun spot come football season if they have the nfl package that is. Affordable drinks, food looked decent but I didn't have any.
Review Source:What a horrible bar! Â It's so unfortunate that Santa Fe's nightlife has dwindled down to this sad excuse for a venue. Â It is a sports bar/ attempt at a night club/ Santa Fe Hooters/Burlesque joke. Â The cover was outrageous. Â $10 for a terrible DJ and a surprise burlesque (topless/ thong) dance on the bar from a middle-aged woman. Â I would never have paid to get in if I knew what I was about to experience. Â Not worth your money or time unless you want to visit a bar that is what I imagine to be a step up from Cheeks. Â People were rude and pushy and there were hoards of men standing around ogling everyone that moved. Â I hope this place shuts down like the four other bars that have tried to make it in this location. Â When will they learn?
