Food was very good.  Nathan aka Pourman was our main server and did a very good job for a very large family with many kids.

Ribs were super tender (barbeque sauce was just a little salty for my tastebuds) but good overall.  Steak Nachos, Lobster Bisque, Burgers (kids loved them) and steaks were all tasty!

Thanks for the great experience in Kingman!

Small town steak house with a big town taste.  Great service and pretty good food.  Generous portions and tasty.  My New York was a little tough but my wife's filet was prepared perfectly.  A little pricy but the portion size makes up for the additional expense.

FABULOUS STEAK! Actually cooked the way you ask. Big portions great cuts!  You don't need sauce people and I'm a sauce WHORE! :) Big lobsters! Amazing customer service. Great beer selection. Monday nights they donate 20% of sales to local charities that come to raise money! This would get them an automatic +1 star had they not already earned 5!

    6 stars!!!

Steak and Lobster...totally worth the splurge!!!
Only been once but will def be back.

This review is long overdue; was here last year after thanksgiving.  We ordered Salmon and Steak combo, Ribs, Salmon and Mojave Rib eye steak dinner - see pics.  The food we ordered were all cooked well and great tasting (with bold flavors).  I'm impressed that they cooked my salmon just perfectly, most restaurant overcook salmon but not here.  They serve big portions hence the price is worth it.  Breads and salads are fresh as well.

Ambiance was comfortable, have an old rustic feel. Service can be a bit more attentive.  Our server was missing for long period of time, had to be reminded to refill drinks yet friendly when she is around.

Our party of 4 agreed that we had a good dinner time here before heading to California.  It's a gem in Kingman, Az and won't mind coming back here again.

    WHAT A RIP OFF.
I think the people who gave this place good reviews need to find out what a well cooked/seasoned steak is supposed to taste like.
I ordered a Cajun  blackened steak.
I asked ahead of time if they could do that, and they assured me they could.
So, a half hour later, out comes this slightly warmed steak with a very little seasoning sprinkled on it AFTER it was on the plate.
There was no sense in complaining, as these folks were clueless.
Their prices are New York City, but their quality is Gary, Indiana (sorry Gary).
When you walk into the place, it becomes obvious the cheapskates are trying to wring every last penny out of their joint, by advertising for local businesses anywhere and everywhere they can. Especially on their tables.
And WHO CARES about their family wedding pictures?????
Kingman, AZ already is a town not keeping up with changing times (and I don't mean in a historical sense), but this place helps lower the area another notch.

WARNING: If you are going to end up spending a night in this town with four Motel 6s,...eat somewhere else before you get to it.

Tough steak meets terrific service in a rating battle royale at Kingman Co Steakhouse. The winner is your faith in finding an outstanding waitress. The loser is your hopes of getting a juicy piece of beef at a local steakhouse.

    * Mohave Rib Eye Steak (1 star) with Steak Fries (3.5 stars) & Salad (3 stars) $26
Driest and toughest rib eye steak I've had in awhile. Now I know why they call it Mohave Rib Eye. For $26, there must of been something juicier and more tender I could of ordered. A1 sauce (for a rib eye??) brought little solace. The thick fries and side salad were totally a-ok.

    * Tenderloin Steak (2 stars) & AYCE Popcorn Shrimp (3 stars) with Broccoli & Cheddar Soup (4 stars) & Steamed Vegetables (3 stars) $12
Olivia Z. spied the daily special of All-you-can-eat Popcorn Shrimp and 7 oz Tenderloin Steak and knew what she was getting. The steak was slightly better than mine and at just $12 for this combo, it's a decent deal. The Popcorn Shrimp were overcooked and "dark" however still fun to pop in your mouth. The best part of her meal was a cup of homemade Broccoli (real pieces) and Cheddar Cheese (real cheese) soup.

    * Baby Back Ribs (4 stars) with Steak Fries & Salad $19
Sean Z. and Stella F. split a full rack of ribs that was still too much for them to eat. Lucky me cause this was the best meat of the meal. Extra BBQ sauce with a little more spice would of helped, but it's hard to deny the fact that this was the favorite at the table.

    * Schlitz Battered Onion Rings (3.5 stars) & Free Bread Rolls (3 stars)
Fried beer-battered onion rings were a tempting choice that we didn't pass up. These thick rings come with a side of Ranch Dressing for some extra creamy calories. The bread & butter was a-ok. Get more if you like them.

One reason I'd go back to Kingman Co Steakhouse is the simply friendly and helpful service. Our waitress was quick with meeting our needs and did so with a smile. So glad she recommended the weekly special beer (Shock Top End of the World Midnight Wheat) because it consoled me well while struggling with the desert-dry steak.

After reading Yelp reviews for Kingman restaurants, we decided on KCS. While I think the person who compared these steaks to Morton's is overstating things, the food was good relative to other restaurants around town. I had the prime rib which was about a 6 or 7 (on a 1-10 scale). Not bad. Not great. Good eats. Good sized portions. Our server Amanda was very sweet and attentive. Dinner for two with no appetizers and two drinks was $75 incl tip.

so it was late, we were in the middle of nowhere with the kids very hungry. we randomly exit the freeway and see this place off to the right. we were greeted by a friendly lady and everyone else in that worked there were just as welcoming. that gave us a good first impression of the place.
then the food came....WOW! i will never have the same respect for Morton's, LG's, or Harris Ranch again after tasting the &20 ribeye that i had at THE KINGMAN COMPANY STEAKHOUSE!! very impressive with the right cooking temperature for all our steaks. and the service was great as well.
this is going to be a permanent stop for us when we pass through Kingman.

Fries and onion rings were very oily, the meats were undercooked to our specifications, and no vegetables offered with our orders.  It was difficult to enjoy the food.  I was wondering about their obvious sanitation issues.  Look else where.

We arrived in Kingman after driving for 12 hours, tired, cranky and hungry.  The hotel recommended Kingman Co. Steak House - only 2 blocks away.  This is a family-owned, family-friendly spot with no frills, so-so service, no atmosphere at all and TERRIFIC steaks.  We're from Chicago and know a good steak - you'll get one here.  The Mojave ribeye was just outstanding and came perfectly grilled as requested.  A couple of acceptable red wines are available by the bottle (skip the mixed drinks - had an abysmal Manhattan).  The sweet potato fries were a great side (but skip the "upgrade" to a Caesar salad - dressing came from a bottle and the "parmesan" clearly wasn't).  If we're ever in Kingman again, we'll head straight to this authentic local spot.

The Kingman Company Steakhouse is located right off Stockton Hill Rd and I-40 in the somewhat less than pleasant town of Kingman, AZ.  Having traveled through this area frequently between Phoenix and Las Vegas, the Kingman Co has become one of the only establishments in Kingman that I would trust to cook for me.

The decor is quite dated and bland.  The business is in need of a facelift.  Tables are old worn, but as a bit of a throw-back they sell advertising for local business that are laminated onto the surface.  This practice (to me) is incredibly corny, but it does give the place a little bit of a local feel.

The service is quite unremarkable, and a bit on the slow side.  I will say, however, that given the area the service certainly could be worse.  Kingman does not have much of a reputation for world class culinary service.

The food:  phenomenal!  On my most recent visit I had a NY Steak, baked potato, and the standard veggies.  The meal came with a salad.  As typical, I requested my steak medium-rare and it came out absolutely perfect!  The steak had great seasoning and was gently seared on the outside with a mouth-watering flavor on the inside.  The potato was perfectly cooked (sadly, this is quite a challenge for many restaurants) and the vegetables were perfectly steamed.  The salad was fresh, the dressing smooth.

Dinner for two was right around $25, a price that I would happily pay again.  I highly recommend Kingman Co to anyone traveling through or to locals alike.  Great food, great experience!

The food quality here is very high, and the prices reflect that fact. Two people can expect to spend upwards of $50.

That's why the ambience is a bit disappointing. I realize it's a steakhouse and you can expect a western theme because of that, but the Formica tables set with ads for local businesses (some of which are out of business) come off as tawdry, and the log benches are a somewhat overplayed meme.

What makes up for that is the generally good service, and the very good food quality. Expect it to be loud - there's no attempt made to control noise in the dining room - but also expect good sized portions and well-made dishes.

The four stars are relative to other Kingman restaurants. A better ambience would nudge up the rating. The quality of the food saved it from three stars.

The only things lacking are ambiance & decor; the service was excellent, drinks cold and exactly as ordered. Food prepared to perfection and delicious. I always like it when i notice locals' cars in the parking lot, and when you're in the Southwest, that's usually dusty pick up trucks, but no matter: if the locals like it, that's a very good sign and locals like this place.

Our waitress, Arcy, was very friendly.  She gave excellent suggestions for us out of towners.  Excellent steak, at a reasonable price.  The bread was warm fresh and very tasty.

We were visiting from out of state and were over an hour from Kingman and ended up here.  Well worth the hour drive for a tasty dinner.

I took two friends and their significant others out to celebrate birthdays.  Everybody ordered one kind of steak or another.  E., had the Steak & Ribs. she ate two ribs and half the Delmonico.  (I ate the rest of the extremely tender ribs!)  R. had the Steak & Salmon.  A grilled sirloin and grilled salmon had him almost licking the plate
    D. and N. both had sirloin's E. ate all of his, then N. kept putting her food on D. plate.
    Service was good and prompt.
    I will eat there again.

Stayed in Kingman for a night and needed a place to eat.  After a week of camping, steak sounded good so off we went.  Best item of the night was their spicy enchilada soup.  Kids really liked the junior angus steaks.  My ribeye was okay.  Server was very sweet and we had a very enjoyable meal overall.

Broke my no meat M-Th, and came here based on reviews. Everything was quite delicious and there was more than enough food for me to eat. The price for my 24oz steak was a bit on the high side, however it was well worth it, as it had little excess fat and was mostly steak! The rolls are TOTALLY awesome. I would go back.

You must read this review! So...yelp says JA Steakhouse, but its actually called Kingsman Steakhouse. Not sure if they changed the name at some point or what. Also, its on the opposite aide of the freeway (opposite my gps of the address). Cheese Sticks were good, the ranch was really good. Potato soup was ok. I has the Fettuccini Alfredo with Cajun chicken, which came with Texas toast. The toast was strong but good. The Cajun chicken is very Cajun and a full chicken breast. My husband ordered the steak and salmon. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium well). It was a good steak. Good flavor, good tenderness. Not a great steak, but appropriate goodness for the price and no complaints. He never orders salmon at restaurants but because of the rave reviews he did. And he loved it. It was a huge serving. The rolls were really good too.

Surprising myself here with a 5-star review. I'm giving them the full 5 because everything here surpassed expectation. The hostess and server were both super-nice. They had a nice selection of beer, and it was served at the right temperature and not over-carbonated. For dinner, we ordered the mesquite salmon and the T-bone. The price seemed a touch high on the steak -- until we saw it, and everything it came with.

Nice, fresh, crisp (and huge!) salads came out with delicious dinner rolls. It took us quite a while to eat the salads, they were so generous. Dinner came out nice and hot (obviously right off the grill) the moment we were ready for it. My companion barely said a word as he grinned and savored every bite of his steak. No steak sauce in sight. As for the salmon, I didn't expect much (since I'm from Seattle and this was Arizona), but I don't eat beef and had ordered it hoping for the best. It was AMAZING. Huge portion, obviously not from Sam's club, but rather a hand-butchered, fresh piece of delicious fish expertly marinated and char grilled. I can still taste it. Truly amazing salmon -- and I've had a lot of it. The baked potato was also huge -- you won't leave here hungry. Service friendly and efficient. Definitely a great experience when we really needed a good meal.

This place is a little tough to find, tucked back in by a Safeway just off of I-40.  But I'm glad I did find it!

It's a very casual restaurant with a friendly staff.  I ordrered the ribs/sirloin combination and was very pleased!  Ribs were hot and covered with a very tasty BBQ sauce and the meat fell off the bone.  Steak was cooked perfectly and not one sign of fat.

Best steak in Kingman!  If you are debating between Kingman Co and Dambar, it's Kingman Co by a lasndslide!

Although the sign on the marquis outside the shopping center still reads J A Steakhouse, this is now the Kingman Cattle Co.

We had shrimp and lobster at the steakhouse.  The shrimp were available grilled - 10 pieces with a nice grilled char.  The seasoning on the shrimp was a little heavy on the salt.  They arrived on top of a load of mixed brown and wild rice - also a little on the salty side.  Sweet potato side was loaded with (too much) butter, and came with a little container of cinnamon sugar if you really have a sweet tooth.  Grilled shrimp platter was $18.99.

Lobster (market price - which meant $50) featured two tails.

The accompanying salads were pretty big but the bleu cheese tasted store bought - pretty runny and low on flavor.

Good selection of beers on tap, including Blue Moon and Kiltlifter.

Friendly fast service.  Easy access off I-40.

When you're on the road, and enter a Motel/Fast food town, u hope 2 find something tasty, reasonable, with good service.  Kingman Steakhouse hit the spot.  My sirloin and salmon were good, and Heather served it with a smile.

This was written on a roadtrip heading to the East Coast.  On the way back, I made a point of staying in Kingman again to eat here again.  Had another nice meal and brew.

A reviewer below berates another reviewer for calling this place 'the best Steakhouse in Kingman'.  Yes, that's kind of silly to say, because Kingman is a small town, and so it's not saying much.  But when you're on the road, going through endless small towns, you don't review eateries as 'the best in town'.  It's either a comeback, or never come back.  I came back.

(By the way, for road travelers who appreciate a nice Hampton Inn, there's one very near this place that I missed on the way out.)

I thought because I'm acoustically challenged the problem was mine, but even my son said, "It's noisy in here." I don't know what the solution is, but it would be much more pleasant to eat here if I could hear the person I was eating with. Apparently the waiter couldn't hear very well either, because he brought my son's bacon-wrapped filet migon bloody-rare instead of medium rare. It took a while for him to reappear and correct the situation. My prime rib was a little tough and just so-so, good au jus, though. The do have a lot of meat and combinations on the menu, and it was difficult deciding which one to go for.

You know you're in a high class joint when the table is plastered with ads for various local companies. Nice touch. This is more of a "Hey-we-are-here-to-eat-meat" place and not a place you'd take your significant other for a candle-light supper.

Ed is right, this is now known as the Kingman Co. Steakhouse.  Saying that this place has the best steaks in Kingman is like saying someone is the smartest kid in the Special Olympics.  There isn't much competition.  The Dambar is mediocre at best.  This place is only slightly better.

If you're in Kingman, and you really really HAVE to have steak, this is your best bet, but I'd not recommend it as a "great steakhouse."

When I was there, this place was called "Kingman Co. Steakhouse".

Whatever the name, this place has the best steak in Kingman. I like Dambar, but for real charcoal flavor, it's this place.

Ribeye was great - as was the salad and appetizers. The even had a fairly good wine selection!

My favorite whenever I'm in Kingman. I'll eat there often.
