Met up with everybody at Steins for a bite and beer. Â I had the Chili in a bread bowl. Â The chili was delicious and warming. Â The bread was a little stale and there could have been more cheese and jalapenos. Â Overall, a good little spot to eat on the slopes. Â Not that you have any real choice in the matter.
This place is two part, a grill on one side that serves hotdogs, polish sausages and brats. A tent on the other side that serves mac & cheese, chilly, Â corn chowder and booze :) So the location is located right at the corridor of the main lift up and down this mountain. This becomes the normal and practical meet up spot for my friends and I when at Heavenly. Â Food is ok, it's sort of pricey, but when you are beat and all you want is something hot and a beer, this place hits the spot. I wouldn't drive up the mountain for it though ;)
