The wife and I stopped by Stepp's the other day to try out the newest place to open in our small town. I know rib shack is in the name but I had to have the Homemade Hamburger and my wife tried the pulled pork sandwich. The hamburger was definitely homemade and huge. It came with everything on , lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion. mayo and mustard. The seasoning in the meat was very good and the only downside was the burger was like a huge meatball which made it a little difficult to eat, not that I wasted any. Â The pulled pork was well smoked and the sauce was nice. My only downside to it was the sauce was already mixed with the pork and I prefer mine to be on the side so I can taste the meat but it was still good. The fries were regular frozen deep fried but were done well. We will have to go again and try the ribs and they have wings in 9 flavors including Suicide Hot which I will HAVE to try. Â Chicken strips, fried pantrout, buffalo fish and catfish round out the menu. The side are normal baked beans, cole slaw, fries, Â potato salad and something odd, spaghetti. Another visit is for sure.
