We stopped for dinner in Round Top after the antiques show. Recommended by someone in town. Won't go back. No service to speak of. You place your order at the bar. Wine is served in plastic cups. You can order an individual pizza or 10 inch pizza. We ordered individual and the crust is noticeably different on the individual size pizzas versus the 10 inch. The 10 in liiks much more appetizing. They brought the wrong pizzas. I will say that their Stone Cellar branded wines are quite good but that's the best I can say.

Don't waste your time reading these old reviews!
Went last nite and my wife went to a party there today..
There is NO service provided. You have to go to the bar to order and pick up all drinks. They will deliver your pizza which has certainly been frozen prior to delivery.
It took us twenty minutes to pay our bill last nite..had to wait in line behind all the people trying to get drinks from the one bartender!
    The WORST.
Don't waste your time or money!

This is an awesome BIG little wine bar/pub I came across while in Round Top for the Antiques Show. The Stone Cellar has a cozy rustic atmosphere. It's not a huge bar where your bartender loses you in the crowd. From the street entry you enter into aged wood floors, beautifully stocked bottles of wine with plenty of intimate or group seating available. Follow the sign to "The Pub". This is my favorite part. Just a few steps down you get to the bar with an option for more table seating or just a few more steps down into a more intimate area of the bar. The patio is HUGE and in like has much more seating for that warm spring/summer/fall evening. Having just stopped to quench my thirst I opted for the Sangria. Homemade, this delicious beverage hit the spot! Not too sweet, not too tart, and not too heavy for a warm spring afternoon. I only wish I had more time to spend. It was perfect for a girls shopping weekend! Thanks Stone Cellar!

We found ourselves in Round Top during a wine festival put on by The Stone Cellar...what luck! We enjoyed several glasses of the House Cab, very good! They had a nice selection of beers, and pizza also.

We will certainly try to plan a weekend stay in Round Top, and will certainly return to The Stone Cellar!

I can't say enough how much I like this place. Great Ice cold beer selection, great pizza, and awesome outdoor atmosphere. The bartender/owner(?) is very nice and helpful. Wish I could eat here a few times a week.

I sell antique prints, old maps and original art at Round Top and when my wife and I want to celebrate an event with a very good bottle of wine this is where we go.  They have a very nice selection of wines which I suggest to our customers that visit us at Blue Hills Antique Show up the road or at Marburger Farms.  (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.antiquemapsandworksonpaper.com&s=8a6460f0af34a4d95ddaaffa0659bdcb11139cea354a6fa1adb81a4da44696d5" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.antiquemapsan…</a>)

Looking to get out of the big City and have a snack, beer or wine and listen to music on the patio somewhere? Think about the Stone Cellar at Round Top. We had already had dinner but this is a great place for a relaxing drink, inside or out. Once inside, you see their retail wine center with great selections from Texas and around the world. Move into the next room and you can either head down stairs to the quiet cellar room or the bar area complete with a few tv's and table for your visiting pleasure. There are 4-6 selections on tap and wine by the bottle or the glass. I didnt look at the entire menu but the pizzas that were coming out looked good. Once outside, the deck area is spread out with comfy metal tables and chairs with stringed lights giving off just enough light to see the local singer songwriter or full band. Get there early as they stop serving around 10pm. If you are still in the mood to keep going, you can walk down the street to Dempseys, which by sound, looked a little rowdier than this comfy venue.
